I was in the process of buying my first house, in N Virginia. Drove out to the home site to see if everything was dry. Thankfully, It was, and that house is still there 50 years later.
As I recall, that storm, and flood, pretty much ended Piper Aircraft production in PA.
Due to development in that area, if it happened now, it could be worse.

Not confusing economic environments BUT at least WNY had site options for a stadium.
Virginia has already said NO. DC, for some reason is clinging to their version of the Rockpile (RFK), and is also saying NO. That leaves Maryland, with limited options far enough away from Baltimore, to be viable for a DC team. Maybe $$$ can't buy happiness?

I thought the filler ports were different sizes, for auto gas and diesel, to maybe save such a problem? Maybe not??

Plenty of trails in Letchworth State Park. Not much to do in Mount Morris. They have a Puerto Rican restaurant that gets good reviews. But aside from that You have to travel outside the area for things to do. (I.e village of Geneseo may have some interesting things since its a college town, Conesus lake which is a small overcrowded finger lake). Growing up in the area, it was the park and what you could do in the park, like hot air ballooning, white water rafting, hiking, touring the damn and that was it, there was no XYZ in the immediate area outside the park.
