Listed as doubtful on the injury report FWIW.

I received my bill for 6 payments of $49.99. I called and it was reduced to the $199 price, ($39.99 over 5 payments). Gotta call.

As will I. Question...will there be food available for purchase from NYCBBB? I know about the beer donated by Labatts and McFaddens, just wondering about food.

For what? He is not in the HoF and I hope he never gets there.

Same hate Walter O'Malley felt from Brooklynites over the Dodgers. If you expect fans to put heart & soul into a team (and really, how else can you justify the expense without the heart & soul) an individual cannot expect even normal decency when he rips the team away. Bills fans would be no different if Ralph ever moved the Bills.

*Allen Iverson Voice*
"We're sitting here, NOT talking about a franchise player we're talking about Josh Reed. I mean listen, we're sitting here talking about Josh Reed, not a Thurman Thomas, not a Jim Kelly, not even a Fred Jackson, but we're talking about Josh Reed. Not to be confused with Andre Reed who would go out there and die for his team and play every game like his last but we're talking about Josh Reed man. How silly is that? Now I know that I'm supposed to lead by example and all that so I'm not shoving that aside like Josh Reed didn't mean anything. I know he was important, I honestly do but we're talking about Josh Reed. We're talking about Josh Reed man. We're talking about Josh Reed. We're talking about Josh Reed. We're not talking about the game. We're talking about Josh Reed. When you come to the stadium, and you seen him play, you've seen him play right? You've seen him drop just about every pass he got, and we're still talking about Josh Reed right now."
Can I use this in my sig? AWESOME!!

Sorry for your loss Guff. Your Dad was a terrific artist and those covers are fantastic. May he RIP.

I was surprised Fitz had never received much coaching on his mechanics before. I can see that being neglected at Harvard. But in the NFL until now? The NFL is the big time and you would think coaching staffs would coach anything and everything that might help them win on Sunday.
The other thing I thought notable about this article was that Lee is a technician. Some folks here speculated that Lee was hired by Gailey specifically to better implement the wildcat. Lee is far more than a wildcat guy. It's great to read that he may help Fitz become a more accurate QB with better fundamentals.
Fitz was the backup guy trying to make the team. The QB coach worked mostly with the starter (I would presume). So Fitz had to figure it out himself. He did OK. Hopefully, now with proper coaching, he can really take the next step as a QB. I'm excited we could have Rich Gannon II here.

Actually, research speaks to the sales force all the time. The Chinese wall is between the research analysts and the bankers, post-Spitzer.

Not just MS...there were 3 leads...JPM and GS. They all seem to have revised estimates mid-way through the roadshow and did not tell everyone. Fairly likely anyone would consider that a material event. Smelling class action here.

I must say that i read precious little about the stock market, or predictions of direction thereof. Has Blodget become a respected journalist now ? I always think of him as the face of the Tech bubble.I liked that article BTW..he must have found religion i guess.
He runs the Business Insider website. I never truly minded Blodget...he just got a bit carried away. However, he still can analyze a stock using fundamentals. Thats why I agree with his FB analysis.
-
I agree with Blodget in this article below. I will not buy FB. I will try to short them to the levels in the article, when shares become available for short. Personally, I think they will go the MySpace route.

If this 12 year old gets it, we all need to start considering unplugging from the matrix.
Her father deserves a beer!

Very cool man...much obliged!

Thanks a lot for the help.
So what type of lens would be a good one to start with for the sports (indoor and outdoor)? I figure getting one good for sports will also help taking other pictures since sports would be the fastest pace thing I'm likely to be shooting.
-
Thanks for the responses. A few additional queries...
What speed should I be looking for? Both of my kids love playing sports and I'd like to get something that allows me to take action shots.
What about buying a camera used say on craigslist? Is it worth it or should I just go for new?
EDIT: Say something like this?
-
Looking for a bit of advice. I always wanted to get into photography and have a bit of time to do so now. I was looking for camera/lens recommendations and possibly a class or two (online preferably) that could teach you how to fully use its capabilities.
Shots will be mostly the family, action sports of my kids and outdoors. I have seen some shots others have taken and have been impressed. Looking to do something similar.
Thanks for any advice.

The cofounder of Facebook just gave up US citizenship, pre-pricing of the IPO.
Facebookistan?

I don't buy into this idea of fans deserving championships, but what exactly qualifies as suffering for fans? For those people down there who truly do follow that team, they've now had to deal with the possibility of losing their team on a yearly basis. If that's not suffering, I don't know what is.
An excellent point and one I had not thought of.
-
I really don't hate any of the teams left. Don't think I can root for Phoenix, they have not suffered enough as fans to deserve the Cup. I could get behind LA, NYR, Was or NJ. No real rooting interest, just want to watch some good hockey.

This is simply stunning to me. Any accountant types on the board want to verify this report?

Sorry I cannot link it (can't find it online), but it was in today's NY Post. Urbik is questionable. Smith & Johnson are doubtful.
