Bills offense needs to get a 2 score lead for the defense with a minute left in the game - problem solved!
probably more like 17 points plus
14 aren't enough, whatever you choose between deep pass catch / PI / multiple quick outs, + recovered onside kick with hail murray
16 aren't enough, same as above with 2 points conversion

As it should be. 35 consecutive regular season games of losing by one score or less. We are always loosing in these contests. The next closest coach has like 13.

pardon my newbie question on that, but aren't players supposed to stay on site during the season ?
Dallas isn't right next to Buffalo...

I also remember the opener last year vs Rams, where I saw a very solid game vs the fresh defending champion

Win out and still miss the playoffs…
OR
Win every game until the Miami game, get a sizable lead on Miami at the half, have a defensive meltdown in the second half, have Allen lead a seeming game-winning drive leaving 6 seconds on the clock, kick it short but Miami fair catches it, give up a 75 yd play to Tyreek Hill on a zero blitz to lose the game and miss the playoffs.
👍you just beat me to it

I don't want McDermott back next year...
But man, in these "game-of-the-year" type games that the Bills always lose, it seems like — more times than not — teams are making the most miraculous, improbable, hyper-low percentage plays against the Bills when the game is on the line. We're talking about a completed hail mary, Justin Jefferson's improbable catch, a 59-yard field goal in a driving rain.
Sometimes it just feels like divine intervention is not in our favor. McDermott's a religious guy... is he not religioning right?
The cigarette man still lives...

The issue he has only like 5 such games in his 4 year career and done very little rest of the games.
Theory: Davis seasonal life cycle:
- Davis has good game.
- In the subsequent games he garners extra defensive attention and he becomes irrelevant.
- After so many games of being irrelevant, defenses forget about him again and don't apply extra attention and he has another random good game.
- Rinse and Repeat.
- Results in a a couple good games a season and then a bunch of meh to irrelevant games the rest of the year.
This sounds like the Ryan Fitzpatrick magic circle 🤔

I understand Dorsey and McDermott, but I see Diggs as stanley just for the potential of going off on Dorsey or McDermott something like this.
I agree, this was a good scene, I also remember Stanley as being a very calm/careless person the major part of the show
I was refering to this

Why would we be scared to fire Mc Dermot ?
how many Lombardy did he bring ?
( to add a few more observations, i'll say pivot players either lost faith or lost confidence in coaches right after the 13 seconds, I think last year was the last push for players who still believed it, which also heavily failed again in divisional, we kinda feel players have a sort of silent mutinary vs coaches about play calls, Von Miller attitude has completly changed from last year where he was taught he's the missing piece and he found out it's far more worse than that and coaches will find a way to ***** it anyway, so why put the pain and the effort, see Allen and Diggs attitude from last year, etc etc and the games are now even painfull to watch, a 36-42 loss would bring hope or at least fun, it's no more the case)

won't happen, but it would be fun

every single game on every 3rd/4th down after the Bills did something good
Sadly

Here I would receive
If for some reason, the Bengals score, Bills get stopped early, and then Bengals score again in the next drive, it could already be a rough day 10 minutes in

Current momentum
anyway, anything can happen in the NFL, it could be a blowout or a close one

didn't do the math but I would love a tie here

At any point yesterday did you feel like we were going to lose that game? We were in control.
honestly, after the Bucs 2 point conversion, I felt the "here we go again last second TD ala Murray"
didn't you ?
the Bills were in control a major part of the game, until the moment they "wanted" to be in control, slowing drives, punting in a not so bad situation, and that's exactly what they failed and why it was so close at the end
= don't force yourself to try to keep in control things you can't, it's a recipe for a failure, and it was close

Amusingly, Andy Reid had long been famous for terrible clock management at the end of halves. Some apples don't fall far from the coaching tree.
Can Andy Reid share the therapist who made him find the light ?

Jags game : offense seemed completely lost
last week : offense seemed completely lost
this week : defense looked completely lost
they don't train these situations ? looked unprepared, no clue about what to do
I don't get it

some NY post titling "Belichick and Brady win 1st Superbowl for Bills" would be a thing to see and I would wonder if I am in an alternate universe
