  1. Nice stat work. It's all hypothetical given the variability from game to game with defences; but the overall averages should hold reasonable over a 16 game season. Here's hoping Willis blows the lid off the average this weekend and hangs a 200 yard game on the Phins and pushes that season total to near 1000 sooner than expected! B)

  2. His stats on Sunday were 0-1-0. I for one do not care, and even think that he, stats notwithstanding, played a good game.

He has been holding his own

Don't get me wrong... Schobel plays hard and has had stiff competition this year. We, however, are paying him to "more than hold his own." I, personally, feel we overpaid a bit for him. Time will tell...but, you're right in that it's hard to argue with a guy that plays hard every play (high motor GW reference) and keeps his mouth shut when he makes a big play.

  3. If the Bills make it to the playoffs, he will be a worthy candidate for OPotY.

(Of course they'll end up giving to the guy who'll toss 90 TDs and lose the opening playoff game, again)

hey, at least he's breaking Marino's records...all of them except biggest whiner of all time.

  4. A lot of his yards come off of the play-action.

Peyton has 41 TDs this year taking advantage of play action. If the kid wins, he wins. This is a classic example of too much credit when you win and too much...blah,blah,blah.

P.S. if drew throws 1TD and three picks and we win by 30 points every week, I'll take him.

  5. I live in south Florida and the media down here is "ripping" the Dolphins for winning this past week and "blowing the first pick in the draft." After growing up within driving distance of Buffalo; living down here for three years makes me want to vomit. Such fair weather (literally) nonsense everywhere. What a year for those buffoons:

    hire marino...he quits

"promote" rick spielman...he trades a second round pick for (drumroll) AJ Feeley

trade for david boston...season ending injury (OK not really their fault)

    chidi ahanatou....he quit too.

offensive coordinator quit in training camp after first OC (Norv Turner) bolted for the raiders.

oh yeah...and there was that running back incident....he gives a speech at minicamp regarding committment....then he smokes himself off the team and proceeds to watch his team quit (see above).

speaking of quitting, there was that Monday night debacle where they literally quit on the field; afterwhich their coach stated he would never give up on his "guys"... and proceeded to QUIT 48 hours later.

We hate Miami and if we needed anymore motivation....Willis is going Home to show 'em how it's done.

  6. ...I think you have to give it to Rothliswhatever.  He's been playing some pretty average games, but the man is unbeaten,

well said... the guy is already "the media darling" and he is 9-0. Let's enjoy it though; who would have thought this discussion would occur 5 weeks ago?

  7. ..alright, maybe not the most important (the yards and TD's are hard to ignore)..but watching the blocking this guy does is impressive. He cuts, chips, and stands LB's straight up on occasion. I love Henry's bowling ball style of running but, in retrospect, he still has greased fingers and simply can't block to save his life (or Drew's or JP's depending on your preference).

  8. First of all, I have been a supporter of Bledsoe during the last three years and continued to be this year....even going into Sunday night. Alas, however, I have come to see the error of my ways. It's time for JP. Regardless, the singular event that has contributed the most to the demise of Drew's career (in my opinion)was the departure of Peerless. I realize Drew tailed off in the waning stages of that year but he did set numerous franchise records. Considering where we are now, it's mind-boggling. In any event, when you consider the line is comparable, the running is comparable, and the D is comparable....the difference is Peerless. Obviously, Drew's mental and physical skills have eroded....the question is how much of that is due to the loss of a guy he had great confidence and trust in???

    Let's go JP!

  9. Plenty of cars can attain 140 mph...if you shove them out of a C-130 at 20,000 feet.

I did 142 mph in my 50th anniversary vette with no difficulty at all. Let's just say I rode the pedal for about twenty seconds (about the time I became a little nervous) and let it coast down. I had plenty of rpm left though and a significantly higher speed would not have been too difficult. The ride, I must say, was smooth.
