I got back last night. I stayed at the place on Lakeshore Drive next door to a brewery which had live music.  and directly if front of the boat that gives tours of the lake which was fairly interesting. The hotel is either new or recently bought and renovated by the Hilton people. They are still working on it (for instance, we couldn't use the balcony because mine was connected to a bridal suite lol and they are going to put up concrete dividers).

The area really is beautiful and the folks up there are friendly. That said, the money is pouring in. There were guests from all over the country, some with Porsches, etc. The food in the hotel was not appealing, but I do recommend a place called "Nolan's."  I had an IPA from Young Lions which was better than average. Breakfast at a really cool place. I think it was called "Patti's."

In all, we had a really nice time. We looked into reservations for next year and July and August were already booked.

Come up to Saratoga next august.

Do you want your surgeon to be a guy who worked his way up the ladder from janitor? Some jobs actually require specific knowledge. Some times just having the credentials is necessary to get considered for a position, even if the knowledge from your degree(s) and credentials are not directly linked to the specifics of the job. People want to hire the most qualified candidate, and that is part of the game, for better or worse. Just going the extra mile to improve yourself is appealing to employers.

But yes, for most people college is just where you go to finish growing up. I mean, I am STILL working on that!

    What a touching response.

Doctors are in the 50% that should go.

Planning on coming to the BILLS vs Cowboys game in December.  I was looking for any advice for the trip.  It will be me and my wife and a 3 and 10 year old.  I would like to know what to expect, also this maybe an issue but my boys are both Cowboys fans:wallbash:  I was curious how the fans would treat them?  Thanks for any advice and help!

They will be treated well if you park at Hammers

  4. I nominate plezmed

I don’t run the TBD tailgate threads any more. He is now in charge.

Did it for 10 years. So TBD people from around the world could come tailgate with other TBD people.
was great to meet so many people.

so could we nominate people for bad behavior?

Hello, I am an independent filmmaker who is looking to talk to some Buffalo Bills’ fans for a potential documentary project about being a football fan in Buffalo, and the importance of sports fandom in people’s lives. I am hoping to eventually make a feature length documentary on this subject.

I want to explore what it is about watching and bonding over sports that make it such an important pastime for so many people around the world. For me and many others, it’s a chance to escape amongst the complexity of the world these days.

I am from a small town in Ontario and have been to Buffalo quite a few times now. My hometown of Markdale, like Buffalo, has seen its ups and downs economically but has fought to stay alive through it all. I’ve been drawn to the city for that reason, and I feel there is a compelling story to tell about resilience and the strong community created through sport, especially the Buffalo Bills. I am interested in making films about the working class because it’s the kind of family I grew up in and the kinds of stories I want to tell are for them.

I am hoping to start really filming in the fall during games in different spots around Buffalo, likes tailgates, bars, people’s home set-ups etc. Before then I would like to start chatting with some people about the project and your fandom this summer as well. If you would be interested in talking a bit more about the project and perhaps are willing to be interviewed sometime, please reach out to me at mccrackenjesse@gmail.com Or you can message me on Facebook.

    Thanks very much,
