Well, let me ask you this... would you put Dave Kingman in as your leadoff hitter?
You can't make a singles hitter out of someone that always swings for the fence.
Bledsoe might be OK for the first few games... but at some point he'll revert back to his old self. He'll take sacks and throw ints in the redzone... that's just his nature... after 11 seasons, mentally, he's an old dog... and they typically can't master new tricks.
I disagree. The running game will take pressure off of Bledsoe and short swing passes and dump off's will open up his opportunities to go deep. People are going to be surprised and pleased with Drew this year.

I see Bledsoe being MUCH more relaxed this year in MM system and playing extremely well.

The population of Braves fans will only be small until they start really making some noise in the playoffs again. Then there won't be enough room on the bandwagon for all of them to jump back on.

Our secondary makes me nervous. I hear everyone saying we have good "cover corners" but I can't even say how many times last year I got peeved because it seemed our corners were playling "soft" giving a 10 yard cushion. It drove me nuts. Seldom did it seem like our corners were covering anybody tight. I hope that changes this year or we're f'd.....

And if a punter get's plowed on a block then you're down both positions. A lot of punters can kick too would do so in an emergency situation.

Madden does need to go but his voice actually brings back some good memories of Thanksgiving days with my whole family napping and watching football in a nice warm house with tons of snow outside. God I miss western NY.....
