  1. And why do you think Gaza can't open an airport? Do you think, under the full cooperation of the PA, they wouldn't have been able to, or was it a result of an election where Militants were put into power and rockets launched daily into Israel from Gaza preventing it?
  2. Clearly all your sources and "hearsay" has to be validiated.
  3. Well then you have a completely different reasoning than your brothers in the middle east who want 1967 borders and east jerusalem. You cant expect equal rights until the violence ends. Given that I recently read an article where Hamas was not satisfied with what egypt is allowing to move in through rafa, maybe Israel is the least of your worries?
  4. Do you also want full coverage of Haiti, Egypt, and every other country directly or indirectly benefiting from American generosity? I have a feeling you'll have plenty of news to watch.
  5. I read haaretz and I find the relevant articles are posted on wsj, usually a day later. I don't understand what kind of reporting you're expecting in America of what goes on in Israel? How much news do you see about Canada, specifically related to domestic politics?
  6. Tom/gg, what do you guys think will be the result of the PAs bid for a state in September? I'm assuming it will be vetoed but will it actually change anything?
  7. I'm sorry man but you're completely way off. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baruch_Goldstein The gravesite has become a pilgrimage site for Jewish extremists; a plaque near the grave reads "To the holy Baruch Goldstein, who gave his life for the Jewish people, the Torah and the nation of Israel." At least 10,000 people have visited the grave since the massacre.[16] In 1996, members of the Labor Party called for the shrine-like landscaped prayer area near the grave to be removed, and Israeli security officials expressed concern that the grave would encourage extremists.[17] In 1999, following passage of a law designed to prohibit monuments to terrorists, and an associated Supreme Court ruling, the Israeli Army bulldozed the shrine and prayer area set up near Goldstein's grave.[18] So yes, they considered him a terrorist. Not only that, they actually removed any sort of "monument" as they didn't agree with the tactics.
  8. You're assuming I don't know who Baruch Goldstein was? Of course, look at how Israeli's respond to terror groups on their side. Goldstein was denounced "with shocked horror" by Orthodox Judaism,[4] and most in Israel denounced Goldstein as insane.[5] Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin condemned the attack, describing Goldstein as a "degenerate murderer", "a shame on Zionism and an embarrassment to Judaism".[6][7][8]
  9. Maybe it's to avoid this? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itamar_attack http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passover_massacre Or maybe i'll just post the list in its entirety: http://www.adl.org/israel/israel_attacks.asp FFS what do you expect them to do?
  10. I don't really care about your little spat with Tom. You're big boys. But when you come here completely disregarding history as lies and propaganda, then in reality, you're calling everyone else an idiot in the process. And out of all the people ive ever encountered in real life and the net, especially with regards to history, he knows his ****. Take it fwiw
  11. Ive seen worse on other forums.
  12. Absolutely nothing but ive been here long enough to know who to take seriously and who not to and who actually knows what they're talking about. So the beauty of being on an Internet forum and having some free time makes it something I decide to chime in on.
  13. If you'd rather be "stupid and happy" as you say, don't come and discuss stuff you're too ignorant to understand because clearly, you have no idea what you're talking about.
  14. And there goes the argument. Attack the posters credibility by commenting on the number of posts. Who needs books anyway And continue getting your knowledge from "what really happened" as well. Perhaps you also subscribe to prison planet?
  15. Doesn't look like Egypt wanted Gaza back either
  16. They did attack them seven years later. Actually it was a sneak attack during Yom Kippur. Even with a sneak attack, Soviet help, they still got their asses handed to them, only it took longer. So maybe it shows you how even with the odds stacked in their favor, the Arabs couldn't win against Israel? So if you don't agree with the narrative, it's lies and propaganda?
  17. Happy birthday!
  18. Define "started". It was pre-emptive. http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/History/67_War.html Regardless, Syria tried to take it back and got their asses handed to them. So why should they get it back?
  19. Yep. September to end of May. Usually the domestic leagues are on the weekend and the European games are during the week.
  20. Not necessarily. The Champions League is the best of the best. Mostly dominated by Italian, English and Spanish teams that are mostly on par with each other in terms of quality. Dominant teams in each league strive to clinch a spot to compete in the European leagues as well as securing a high spot in the the domestic leagues. It actually makes the sport very interesting, of course i haven't watched much European league soccer in a while since the team I support sucks ass.
  21. There hasn't been any significant activity (besides the nakba protests) since the truce after the boy was killed in the school bus. Maybe they are holding back to see if they can make their bid for a state in September?
  22. You mean they weren't already smuggling weapons through tunnels?
  23. Are they still going to send their flotilla`s now
  24. I hate both of them. !@#$ Man Utd and !@#$ Barca. And !@#$ everyone but AS Roma
  25. I hope he gets the chair.
