  1. To me, Mario Williams makes our 4-6 million per million DTs 7-8 million DTs, our 2-3 million LBs into 4-5 million LBs, and our 3-5 million DBs into 5-7 million DBs.

He created an excitement and confidence in the team in the short term, mid term and long term, sold tickets and jerseys, and helped the offense tremendously. He was a bargain.

Agreed. The Bills needed this signing. Anyone who has watched this team knows that they haven't been able to rush the passer since Wade Phillps left. Our secondary is good wit the potential to. E great, especially if they don't have to cover anyone for more than 5 seconds like they have in the past.

More importantly, this energized a fan base that has been longing for a superstar for far too long.

  2. He is not exactly wrong. If a team is more than one player a way from being good then spending your nut on one player is foolish. Obviously Buddy and company feel that we are a lot closer to being a playoff caliber roster than the media and Mr. Kraft think. This was a huge "all in" bet by the Buffalo front office and props to them for having the balls to pull it off. Someone is right and someone is wrong and we will all find out a few months from now.

Here is to hoping that Buddy's bet pays off in spades.

  3. NFL Total Access - both Billick and Baldinger crapped on the signing - said one player does not make us a contender.

Baldinger, who is kind of a douche, said that he would have rather spread the money out on a couple of good players.

I guess the forgot that we actually have a really good secondary -that may become great if we can put some heat on the QB. Our LBs are pretty damn good too.

  4. Jeff Littman: "Wait, wait, wait. I thought is was 6 years for $9.6 Million? Did you say $96 Million???? No way guys, no freaking way. Tell him NO, absolutely not. We bought him dinner - TWICE - plus two lunches AND we had bagels this morning when he got here - enough is enough. If he'll take the $9.6 million he can sign, I'm not happy about it, but we'll do it."

  5. This is getting embarrassing. If he's not going to sign, well, that sucks but it's time to move on. What else can the Bills do - they are giving it all they have. The longer he stays here and doesn't sign the more embarrassing it is to the team and the city. I can just here Cowherd now " It took him three days to realize something I could have told him in 5 minutes".

We will be fine. Remember, the Bills were never supposed to get him in the first place.
