  1. [

I am a diehard Bills fan and dread the idea of them leaving, but honestly as a NY state (and erie county) property owner and tax payer I do not want ANY of my tax money going to ANY pro sports team in the state. period.

The NFL makes money hand over fist they might as well just print their own money they do not need public funding.

It's just more political patronage and pork to buy votes at the expense of taxpayers.

There are A LOT of things that I don't want my tax money to go towards but $84 Million to upgrade a COUNTY owned facility that the COUNTY earns revenue on is at least something that the state and county can get a return on.

The state should start by cutting the welfare and medicaid expenses which are three times the national average and start cracking down and welfare fraud and abuse, which costs us taxpayers and property owners substantially more than $84 Million.

  2. Don't kid yourself. It's not a lack of common sense, but dollars and cents. Decisions go the way of the side that greases Congress best.

Ding ding ding. By the time that the networks and the league/owners are done filling the pockets of the worthless 535 scumbags in congress the ruling will be extended.

  3. This is amazing

The song originally written to honor Canadian Paralympic hero Rick "Man In Motion" Hansen is now honoring another athlete who's inspiring people worldwide. John Parr, who earned a Grammy nom in 1985 for "St. Elmo's Fire," released his updated version yesterday featuring lyrics like:

    You know I'm out there

    Down on one knee

    A prisoner

And I'm tryin' to break free

  4. Agreed, he has had a pretty good rookie year without much help up there on the D-Line. One year of experience under his belt, and the return of Kyle Williams next year, Dareus should be a force.

Dont forget about Torell Troupe - he and his back will be back too.
