This is exactly the kind of selective outrage that exposes the hypocrisy. Irish, Italian, and other white ethnic groups and politicians have proudly celebrated their heritage for generations - St. Patrick’s Day, Italian American parades, flags, festivals - all while calling themselves 'true Americans' without question. But the second a brown politician expresses similar pride in their roots, it's suddenly un-American?
Please.
Patriotism and cultural pride aren’t mutually exclusive unless you think they only coexist for white people - AND we know that's how you little people think.
So no I'm not 'taking the L.'
