The only thing that I'll give him credit for is i believe when he fired Dorsey, he stated publicly that he wanted to true OC search, but Josh wanted Brady. Correct me if I'm wrong, as it could've been before he hired Dorsey, but McF definitely said he wanted to hire a proven OC.

I think that its part of the problem here. Everyone is way too relaxed. There's not one prominent member of this team that feels any type of pressure. This has come from out of the mouth of our QB himself.

Do you think that the city/ weather plays a part in us getting better candidates? Real questions, because I've heard that before. Many of these HCs are married and their wives want to be in cities that have more going on, better weather and better housing situations. McVay I'm sure loves LA and wouldn't leave unless we offered a ridiculous amount of money, as well as draft picks that we cannot afford to lose unless its for a generational player. I personally would offer Minnesota 2 first ans a 2026 Second for Jefferson at this point. Gotta go all in while Josh is still great.

That said, a team of Jon Gruden/Reggie Mckenzie or Matt Nagy/Mike Bradway would be the way I'd lean. Decision made! Gruden it is. Gas up the Cesna Terry! Gotta lighten the mood here a tad!

I would try and poach Dan Orlovsky from ESPN, as our OC if we're keeping McD. He knows a ton and is extremely insightful when he calls games, as well as his weekly appearances on One Bills Live.

No matter what people say about him. He's had more success than anyone we have right now. He's won a SB with less than what McDermott has had over the last 8 years, minus this year and maybe last year. We have one of the best qbs, as well as a top flight defensive until back in 2022, 2023 and still got dropped. Can't say that Tampa Team was better than our 2022 2023 team.

Let's not act like Gruden is Chan Gailey now! I mentioned him as someone I at least know who is available, who has had success. I asked the question about who else is out there? Not someone we would have to trade valuable assets for, although I would for Reid, McVay. Mcdermott is the equivalent of Tom Thibodeu of the Knicks. He came in, changed the culture of the club, made the Knicks competitive and semi contenders but could never take any of his squads to the big dance. He had a prime Dwrrick Rose with the Bulls and squandered his career. I just dont want to see this with Josh and its becoming more and more obvious to most that this is what's happening here.

I know it seems like complaining on a fan board is irrelevant, and it very well could be, but I do believe that the Bills have people that go on fan sites, and social media to gauge fans temperatures and maybe if their PR people, or season ticket people, or whoever they have realize that the majority of their fan base is fed up with what we are getting from their current regime, then maybe just maybe we will be heard and changes will be made.

There is a ton of speculation that Beane doesn't really, truly run our drafts, and McD basically selects our picks. It was also rumored that Terry wanted Mahomes in 2017 and McD overuled him, so I personally believe this to some extent, seeing is how we draft heavy on defense and pretty much ignore offense in the early rounds. Then there's the speculation that they ask Josh for his input on FAs and draft prospects, so I am very confused to who really is running this team? Is it Sean, Brandon, Terry or Josh. I doubt its Josh, so that leaves the other three.

Well imo we will be wasting another one of Josh's prime years running it back with these two. We've seen everything there is to see. I have zero confidence that they will pick a great wr in the draft, and we know they damm well can't afford a top flight FA WR, so we will get another Keon Coleman prototype for WR and then the will draft defense with the next 3 picks, circling back to offense in the 5th round. I dontvwant to play this game into Josh's 30s. If we do, we may be having conversations about who we can draft to replace Josh

If MCD stays, the OC has to go and I sincerely hope someone othe than him picks the new OC. I am curious to see how things change with offensive philosophy in our new stadium. I think McD believes that with the wind and elements that we currently play in, he wants and needs a strong running game and short yardage game, just due to the wind in OP in the winter. Now that our new stadium will deflect the wind, maybe things change with his run heavy, conservative philosophy?? Just spit balling here. Trying to hype myself up for what's probably the inevitable with McD!

Any promising HCs in college? I dont watch College FB except for Cuse and I want nothing to do with anyone from there for coaches. How about Kingbury for OC? He had Daniel's balling last year. I like many on this board dont think Pegs will fire McD this year.

I kinda like that combo, but I'm torn on Stefanski. Part me feels like he also gets outschemed at times. Albeit he really hasn't had a good qb since Baker, and he didn't set the world on fire with him either. Schwartz I definitely like as DC, but he would never come here as that. It would have to HC for him to consider it.

There are plenty ofthreads about McD and Beane. I have arguments with family and friends about both, with many of them afraid to move on, solely because they are afraid of who Terry will hire to replace them. My brother continues to ask me, who's better for HC than McD that is out there? My answer is Gruden. I think if he hires a competent OC, he would be able to bring Josh back to the Josh that we all know and have seen dominate the NFL. He definitely would not give Josh the weapons he has now, and if he inherited the guys we do have now, I'm certain that he could squeeze a little bit more production out of them then this current staff is. Just his firey attitude would contribute more than this Xanax crew is giving us. What HC/ GM combo do you all suggest? Realistic duos please.

Man that stings so much more! I appreciate McD and Beane, but we have to move on from them. They have proven that at best that draft second and third tier rate players that over achieve. There hasn't been one player that they drafted that is no longer on this team that is remotely any good, outside of Edmunds, who is decent, but no star player.

I also remember Brane neglecting the WR position when we drafted Cody Ford over DK Metcalfe as well. How'd that work for us. Imagine DK and Stef on our team during those years! I know its all retrospect, but just one of too many flubbs by Beane for my taste!

I dont watch enough College FB to know who's good, average or best, but that draft people were pounding the table for Mcconkey and I started to pay attention to who was left on the board. Watched his film and thought he was a great slot replacement for Beasley. , and more athletic than Bease. When we drafted Coleman, I watched his tape and thought.... maybe they know something that we all dont about both. We definitely needed height, but not kelvin Benjamin 2.0! Actually its disrespectful to KB to compare Coleman to him. KB had some really productive years in Carolina! I also believe that Brady has no clue how to implement him into our offense either, but I bet Andy Reid would! McKay and Shanahan for that matter as well.
