I really couldn't care less who does the radio call.   Just wondering why Murph gets little to no love from the fans?

He was a good Sports Director at WKBW but that didn't translate as a natural pbp man. He kept repeating the same phrases -- "the snaaap" --  and when the play called for excitement, his voice strains and he just doesn't have the pipes.

  2. I like that the Bills started Murray last game. He presents a whole different problem than the one  Cook does. It also keeps the other team guessing what's going to happen going forward. Again, if there's a lot of rain, and I think there will be, the power running game is going to be important.

  3. There's a whole industry of race-baiters. It's nothing new. They make up false claims, as if they don't know what the word "allegations" mean and they take the ball and run with it. Among them besides Trotter: Carron J. Phillips, Hasan Minhaj,  Akim Aliu another.

  4. Hate to pile on but here goes. What I see is the constant look of fear in Allen's eyes. He doesn't look confident. He looks confused at best, fearful at worst. Or the look in his eyes betrays that there's not much going on upstairs. Replacing Spencer Brown might help. About the ill-advised long throws to Whitehead...I see it time and again that there are open, sometimes wide open receivers underneath but Allen doesn't see them or isn't looking at them. I think he has a problem with peripheral vision. I just don't think he sees all that well. Maybe concussions play into that too. Allen's long balls aren't accurate either. He seems to zip everything in, as opposed to putting a soft arc on it to lead his receivers like on the Cook pass that should have been a TD.

Another is scheme. I want a power running game and mixing juice in, not the opposite. I don't think Cook is a lead back. For so many years the running game (except for Josh) has been an afterthought.  It's time we get a professional Offensive Coordinator with experience to get more of a balanced attack. Dorsey is not it.

  5. One of the very first acts of Pegulas was to invest $10 million into the lockerroom. I didn't think that was a good idea and it was a bad priority. The whole episode of Terry coming crying to Lafontaine to take charge really stuck in my craw. Then the way Lafontaine was fired seemed so secretive and arbitrary...and the rumors that his concussions had something to do with his competency...all rubbed me the wrong way.  It all seemed like chaos.  If I recall, a lot of the conflict between Lafontaine and Murray/Pegula was the decision to trade Miller. And as it turned out, Buffalo didn't have good goaltending or a good team for the better part of a decade afterwards.

  6. Blocking and tackling are the basic building blocks of the NFL. The Bills have plenty of great guys who can pass, catch and run but blocking on the OL looks very thin and shaky. Doyle is out for the year. Morse and Dawkins have chronic injury problems and can easily become long-term injured. Spencer Brown looks like a bust and is also injury prone. Quessenbury should have been cut awhile back. This leaves who?  Looks to me like Beane put the cart before the horse with the OL. IMO addressing the OL should have been on the top shelf but Beane seems more enamored with the shiny toys. The Bills need more hogs!
