It's frustrating to say the least. He can be the hero and goat in the same game. Just saying.

Did the Kelly era team(s) have mid season "slumps" and "swoons"?
Its so long ago I cant recall ... also it was pre internet days so I had to look up the results each week in the Tuesday newspaper at the time.
I remember that most of the losses during the "golden years" were squarely on game planning and coaching. Sound familiar?

For sure, Josh Allen's mistakes cost the team the game. However, not recognizing that Josh was under duress the entire game and not going for short routes, instead opting for intermediate and deep routes (which were taken away) is something the coaching staff should have seen and adjusted to. It blows my mind that we lose when Josh plays bad. If we have the most complete roster, they should be able to win games when Allen isn't himself.
I don't think our OC helped much Sunday. I think he needs to take much of the blame.

It's his eyes that are the problem not his arm.
I was wondering the same thing. Didn't he have some problems a couple years ago?

I think Allen has got to a point where things have been so easy for him for so long that he kind of has brought this on himself. He doesn't make adjustments when the OLine isn't doing as well, he still wants to push the ball downfield and thinks he can just run around and make up for it.
We needed the Rams game Josh Allen today and he wanted to be the Steelers game Josh Allen.
Dorsey should step in.

Knox? How many times was he targeted? How many did he drop?

What are your thoughts on this receiving group going forward?
Assuming McKenzie is healthy next week, Shakir looks to have earned getting significant snaps. He's already shown he can line up in the slot or outside.
When Diggs or Davis need a play or two off, Shakir takes those snaps. He can also split time with Isaiah in the slot.
In 10 Personnel : Diggs, Davis, McKenzie, Shakir
Let's say we go "all in" and acquire another weapon at WR in the next month, whether it's OBJ or someone unexpected via trade.
I believe this is sensible as both added insurance and also to make this team even more unstoppable.
Diggs
Davis*Sign/Trade
Mckenzie
Shakir
KumerowHodgins
Stevenson
Gentry
A bit of intrigue would be if Marquez Stevenson is healthy later in the season. Has he shown the staff enough to warrant playing time? I personally don't believe he has earned it, but I wasn't at Mini camp or Training Camp
*If we add OBJ and line him up outside in 11 personnel....Diggs can line up in the slot which is a huge mismatch and he's shown to be elite when lined up there.
No defense in the league has the capability to deal with a Diggs, Davis, OBJ package. Add Shakir and McKenzie rotating in, with occasional 5WR spreads..... scary
I will also say that team chemistry should be considered when adding a new WR. The fact that Diggs is friends with OBJ, openly stated he'd like him here and of course Von; it makes a lot of sense to me. Others may disagree and that's fine, I get it
I like the idea of Hodgins getting more targets.
Dorsey’s lack of adjustments in the second half; 12 second half points in the last 3 games

I don't know about McD, but I agree with you on Fraser and Dorsey. Absolute collapse in the 2nd half and no adjustments.
