I don't get it. When you want to get a 3rd and short on offense go 6 OL or big package. Almost always works. Well why not do an extra lineman in that situation on defense? This is gonna be the new big thing for teams in the league to counter the resurgence of the run game....and generate pressure all at once. Can't we be ahead of the curve for once? To me it's shame on the team for labeling him a starting possible no. 1 after drafting him too high....and shame on the team for trying to force or expect him to be that. He could very well be a fantastic red zone guy and have great success. IMO the team screwed the whole thing up from draft day. A 5-2-4 with Shaq as a coverage LB is the best thing for our Defense. With better corner and improved safety play, we could get very good at it. Hopefully Fox looks like Hoecht, but there are other stunt combos we can use. I hope they embrace it rather than the hard headed rush 4 crap.

I said before the game to put Gabe / Shavers opposite Palmer and it should stay that way. However, i do think Keon as a redzone guy could pay big. Just a matter of who and how many do you suit up on gameday.

As long as Milano stays healthy, he will shake off the rust as he plays. To me Shaq has been a heck of a blessing. Didn't expect to get this from him.
