I wonder with Flornay if they will wait, and if not drafted sign him as a priority UDFA

Ok in 5th round, one our picks HAS to be WR right?

Don't understand why every is throwing a tantrum about the Bills having multiple 5th round picks. Have the Bills ever drafted anyone in the 5th round who went on to make a difference, or not?
For myself, the players I like start dwindling around 110ish but I'll be watching to see which of those guys are available to the Bills for those 141/144/160/163 picks. And then throwing my own tantrum when they take someone completely off the board.
Um....Matt Milano has entered the chat...

Why did the Bills do all that work on Franklin and then not take him?
Oh...is the draft over? Darn...🙄

THERE YOU GO!!!

Guys please go read scouting reports. Please go to YouTube and look up his gauntlet drill. His short speed, his hands and tracking skills are ELITE. He's a beast. This is a GOOD pick.

Chi either takes Rome or trades out. If we don't trade with Bears then we sit for awhile or till 28

Alt was a lock to Tenn, will they want to trade back now? Hmm..

Nice writeup, but I disagree. In the NFL it's still the case you need a wr that can take the top off of a D, no matter the type of D. They need a true X.

Why not package Milano AND Josh for the number one overall...🙄🙄🙄🙄

I don't think that would be enough to get to 7. Would likely take one of next years 2nds as well.

This would have been exciting, 5 years ago...😔

Thoughts about a trade for him? Could we even afford what he will want? And what would it take pick wise. A proven commodity, but costly. I'm not sure I would do it because of this amazing draft for WRs.

Or Nabers.
I just think a trade up into the top ten is simply too costly and not needed with the depth of WR. I can see going to teens, otherwise sit tight.

Considering his age and how badly his production fell-off the end of last year (not to mention the never-ending drama around his Twitter posts)... I really have no problem with Stefon Diggs getting traded.
The part that confuses is me is the compensation. We get a 2nd Round Pick... but not until next year. We do save some cap from his contract... but also next year, while taking on a big dead-cap hit now. This adds up as a team willing to get worse in 2024, in exchange for the opportunity to be better in 2025. It doesn't look like a team hoping to compete for a Super Bowl again.
Most of the moves Beane made over the last month I understand (Tre White, Jordan Poyer, Gabe Davis). These are all losses we could afford to lose and still field a contending team. But the Mitch Morse release (just when the O-Line was finally getting set) and the Diggs trade make me question if our GM is just punting away this season, and hoping to reload for the future.
Maybe there will be some follow-up moves in the coming weeks (maybe trading for Justin Jefferson or Brandon Aiyuk). Maybe the plan is to trade-up for one of the Top 3 receivers. But as things sit right now, it's a depressing downturn.
Trading for Justin Jefferson??? HUH???😂😂

One reason for optimism with this situation. Other than QB there is no other position in the current NFL where a player can step in and make an immediate impact. You see it every year, and it doesn't always have to be a top 10 pick. Just look at what GB did with their rook wide outs. And add in Josh...I think Beane does have a plan, I think he will try to trade up in top 15 to get a stud. If not he will certainly double up in this draft.

IMO, this played a large part in it.
I doubt this happened with Josh. What I can see is Diggs just saying I want a trade I'm done here. He gave us some great years but the Viking posters were right back then, in a few years he'll become a cancer

Oh wait the 2d rounder is NEXT year. Ugh. Still was a move we needed to make but yikes. Hoping Beane already has something up his sleeve here. Can this year's 28 and one of those seconds next year get us into top 15 this year??

Wow, a bit surprised but in the long run this a good move and the right move. He's declining and obviously wants out and has become a cancer.

So...Xavier Worthy. His speed is tantalizing, and his production was very good against big boy competition. Of course the question is size. He seems comparable to Devonta Smith. Remember all the questions about his size and durability when he came out. What do people think about Worthy as compared to Smith? Would he be worth the risk at 28? The thought of what he could do on bombs from Josh...
Did we do enough at wide receiver?

Beane is not done. Not a chance in the world. Not saying there will be a big splash trade, but this team will have another wr on the roster, most likely after the Tre money comes into play 6/1.
