You’re making my point for me. you’re going to have to go through those 2 teams for years to come to win a SB and if Miami and the jets who already played us tough and beat us this year get a QB with the talent they have on both sides of the ball, you can say goodbye to the division so yes, we can beat almost every team but the two best in the conference, who have better players and coaches then us. take your heart out of it and think like an outsider looking in and realize they’re just not good enough players or coaches. They don’t have any impact players besides Allen and Diggs and a 33 going on 34 year old pass rusher with a bad knee.

Who cares about the stats? When you play poor teams, average teams and above average teams during the season you’re going to have inflated stats when you get to the playoffs with the really good teams, and really good coaches who have the players and know how to attack your deficiencies stats don’t really matter. this is the 4th season where the Bills and McDermott have been out played or out coached. He’s a good coach. Good but not great which really shows up when the Bills play better coached teams.

Poor drafting. Bean has invested so much on the defense particularly the d line and has not had an ROI While also not investing enough on the offensive line and receivers Doesn’t help at all that Zay Jones was drafted in the 2nd round which could have been used on someone who is still on the team and not just contributing but making a difference. The same goes for Cody Ford and Zach moss. you can only mask drafting poorly for so long before it slaps you in the face. This isn’t a one off season fix.

What gives you any faith that we can draft any talent? Zay Jones? Cody ford? Epenesa? Rousseau? Bashsam? 5 picks that should be making impacts and they’re not edit; Zack Moss Edit; Wyatt Teller Beane? Got to go worst part Schoen and Daboll are in NJ

Can we all agree that Dion Dawkins stinks. I’m tired of the Schno man getting absolutely overpowered by bull rushers and beaten by speed rushers. He’s not a quality starting left tackle. spencer brown, Ryan Bates and 34 year old Roger saffold can all join that club too.

I get everyone wants to defend this team. We all love the Bills or we wouldn’t spend so much time on this board on on them. it’s like if you have a kid who constantly f’cks up but he’s a nice kid and you defend him to the end. At as certain point you have to say it’s not a them problem and it’s a you problem. it’s not the team, it’s the people responsible for the team

At what point do you acknowledge that the way your doing things is good but not good enough? The defensive rankings have been inflated due to playing on a mostly bad divison the last few years. This scheme works when you have 4 d lineman who can pressure the qb with 4 alone which makes up for a lot of other deficiencies in your defense. When they don’t and you whiff on 1st and 2nd round picks and pay 140 mill to a 34 year old with a bad knee this is the product Look what Daboll and Schoen did in one year in NY? They overachieved for sure, and got blown out by a better team in the eagles but that was bound to happen. he’s fantastic situationally and gets the best out of lesser players.

Should have been Schoen and Daboll but we know where they are now.

The best coach we had on this team coaches for the Giants now years of whiffing on draft picks are made up by Josh Allen being so damn good there’s only so much he can do he needs help in the form of talent on the field and in the front office

McDermott is terrible situationally. Beane has consistently whiffed on early round draft picks. we don’t have any difference makers on any level of defense for a defensive head coach lead team (besides a 34 year old 140 million dollar DE with a bad knee) you can’t miss on that many draft picks and expect to have a good team #17 is so good he makes up for a lot of weaknesses on this team until you play a team who can expose them 6 years going on 7 and the o line, d line are soft. We don’t have any playmakers/difference makers besides Allen and diggs and there’s no salary cap space This isn’t a one off season fix. Teams in our own division are getting better. We’re going to take a step back before we move forward I also firmly believe we let the best coach on the staff left for NY and we’re going to feel the backlash for years to come

You can’t have 32 teams that are reliant on the pass. At some point teams have to go against the grain to compete. Which is why you’re seeing teams like the colts, Titans (before Henry got hurt), and the cowboys (when they commit to the run) have success this year. Pittsburgh has made a fundamental change from being pass heavy a few years ago to back to playing great defense and running the ball because that’s what wins in the Pittsburgh climate. Ben is holding them back To make a deep run or win a championship you have to run the ball, stop the run and take the ball away. Last year Fournette was Tampa’s MVP in the post season and they were top notch in the passing game all season. you don’t have to be great at running the ball you just have to be efficient, make other teams respect it and have it compliment your pass game especially in cold weather. you have to absolutely stop the run. If you don’t, it opens up so much more with play action and opening up mid to deep routes
