Do the Bills need another defensive lineman? Like really. I swear if another defensive lineman is added to this team I might vomit.
Unless Beane has gone full Stark and invented a time machine to pull in 1990 Bruce Smith....I'm against it.

I'm not a "God" guy or prayer person. But I did pray....just not sure to who...maybe to just myself.
This is a straight up Miracle!

It's a forum & that is why I asked. Like someone else said above if McD and the Bills were told to get "back on the field and finish the game or take the L", we think the B ills would have taken the "L".
It's a hypothetical.
Yeah, I get it's a hypothetical and as many have said before, no one is going to be perfectly happy with every scenario....This is just one that I would be vehemently against.

I didn't say middle finger. I said the Bills step up and say "We'll take #3". Of course the proviso being that Buff, KC & Cincy win on the weekend.
A terrible event on Monday, but regardless it happened to a Bills player.
Why would the Bills "step up" and take the 3? What's the reasoning. Only that it happened to a Bills player? It's absurd. Nobody is even asking or proposing this outside of this forum.
-
It doesn't sit well with me that the Bills should just concede down to 3. Why would they? Why should they?
The NFL needs to come up with equitable solutions for Buf-KC-and Cin. Nobody is at fault here and Sean-Zach and Andy are all classy, mature adults that I am sure can come to a resolution on this that is amenable to each respective team.
No team should be punished or rewarded based on this tragic event.
The contingency for the AFCCG to be played at a neutral site seems good to me. It screws over fans that have season tickets, I get that but, I'm ok with that over the Bills getting the middle finger and accepting a lower seed because of a freak incident.

I think it was about what the NFL was doing about the Cinci game, but can't be sure
I’m paraphrasing but it was along the lines of the previous question…. “I know you guys said you want to play this weekend but do you think that’s also what the NFL wants?” “NFL” …..Implying Goodell.

Araiza being released was a blessing. take it off your list of tragedies...
Just another piece of the adversity the Bills went through this year. It could be on, or off.

Not to be the materialistic weasel of the group, but....Is anyone else fighting the urge to dream up scenarios on what a amazingly triumphant story it would be for the Bills to win the SB. I know I am. Trying to manage expectations.
Tops Massacre
Matt Araiza being released
Dawsons brother
Micah Hyde - done
Von Miller - done
Two historic deadly snowstorms
Damar Hamlin
If anyone needs this, it's the people of Buffalo

One scenario must be chosen and you are not going to have a 100% agreeableness on any of them. I like the neutral site idea....especially if its indoors.

Before they introduce the Bills lineup for the game Sunday, they should introduce the medical staff who saved this young man’s life.
This should be forwarded to the Bills organization....absolute banger of an idea

Really great news....I've been waiting on an update concerning his neurological status. Very, very encouraging.

And that's why we watch the games. That's why they play. Let the process reveal who has the highest score.
So you don't have any personal opinions on who may or may not win the SB? I'm not disrespecting the work the players put in, I just think the Bills are held back by coaching.

Slow down. Our players and the organization do not agree with you. Dude, that's just disrespectful and dismissive of the work and energy they put in.
That's why they actually perform on the field.
A lot of people don't agree with it....It's just my opinion.
You could say this for every team in the league.

Are you?
I'm not the one suggesting JA is going to be lights out good due to the fact his grandmother died, and he could be again due to Hamlin's injury. It was a weird statement to make.

Well lets all hope and pray theres not to much grieving going on and Damar shows improvement.
Josh Allen has been in the same situation before after losing a loved one.
and played lights out...
Brillant.....All JA needed was the potential death of a teammate to get back on track.
Are you for real?

Just do a Madden simulation and award the win based off that. I'd be cool with it. It's as good as all the other ideas.
For me personally, seeding really doesn't matter. I never believed the Bills were going to the SB this year let alone winning it.

People have been way to quick to criticize the league's handling of an unprecedented situation. In fact all of the NFL's preparedness and on-field protocols for a situation like this may have saved Hamlin's life tonight. I choose to focus on that, instead of how many minutes they waited to announce the game was postponed.
Ok. I even gave you a Lombardi reaction.

Just saying because I know a thing or two about large corporations and money.
100% there were people, somewhere in an office discussing the monetary impact of all this and having active debates on why the game should go on. Guaranteed.

I’m sorry but I’m not going to argue with you and this will be my last post on this subject but the Bills will play again this year. Unfortunately, this is not unprecedented. Serious injuries and deaths have occurred in all sports and teams lace them back up. Loyola Marymount, NASCAR, the NFL, even the NHL.Reggie Lewis, Boston Celtics.

Reschedule the game. Push the playoffs out a week. Only way I see it.

Packers were in a similar boat at one point not long ago and are suddenly peaking at the right time.
Not going to be shocked at all when they go into SF/PHI/DAL etc and make a historic run to the SB, in fact many pundits predicted a BUF/GB or KC/GB matchup in the big game and that may still yet come to fruition.
Nope. KC vs Lions SB. Book it!

Read the threads….and it was good reading. But I’m sure that it’s pretty close to what this place will look like when the Bills get bounced out of the playoffs again.
