In addition he has even lined out at outside WR and caught TD’s in that role.  Ability to send him out and create mismatches with his speed and RAC will be helpful for Josh.

If Hines takes away snaps from anybody, I could see it coming from 'Lil Dirty.    He has better hands and seems to be a good slot option.

In what way is he better than Cook? Show me, don't tell me. He had one really good year as a punt returner(2019). Since then he's averaging 10 yards or less per return.

Jamison Crowder was averaging 11.1 yards per return (9th overall) before he was hurt.    I'll take Heins 10.1 average as a good base, and think with a better ST group around him that can go up.

Not this year. About the same targets and yards. Singletary has a receiving td, Hines doesn't. That 1 td is the biggest difference between the 2 as receivers this year. Their results are nearly identical.

I'm not basing it on stats.  I'm going by video and the eyeball test.

But offers less than both Singletary and Cook in rushing & receiving. I don't get it unless he's the #3 RB.

He's much better than Singletary as a receiver (the jury's still out on Cook, who hasn't had enough touches to evaluate).    Hines can also play the slot in a pinch.     As a runner, he looks about the same as Motor, with less yards after contact ability (he's a water bug).

Would have liked to add a bigger back for short yardage situations, but I guess that's Josh's role.

That's exactly how I feel. He's a tall dime coverage strong safely. And he always has been.

Which is fine and fits the defense we play (2 LBs, nickel coverage, stop the big play).    He does that job well.   And it works for the Bills.

It's just frustrating to watch him defend the run, so often taking the wrong angle, not being able to shed blocks, missing tackles, etc.    Milano (a former college safety) plays much more like a traditional LB than Edmunds, IMO (stronger tackler, better at diagnosing running plays, more active in coverage/INTs).

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but keep in mind a lot of the negativity after a double digit win is because a LOT of people had the Bills at -10.5 or -11 and due to some 2nd half sloppiness, they juuuust failed to cover.

IDK.   Josh being 5 of 14 for ~90 yards and two picks in the second half may have something to do with that negativity as well.

    I’m passing here.

We need a game changer and someone a clear upgrade on Motor

Why necessarily an upgrade?    I'd be happy with a nice "Thunder and Lightning" complimentary back that could split carries, is a good receiver, carries a low cap hit and could probably be had for a late round pick.     He's got a nice burst and is what we hoped Moss would be at this point.
