  1. This conversation comes down to, how much do you pay a number two receiver and is he easily replaceable. What does Davis do that isn’t replaceable? The only thing that stands out is a couple of nice toe-tappers, but there have been as many contested catches he hasn’t brought in to make those good plays moot.

Maybe there’s an element of chemistry with Josh, but again that’s something that develops in any receiver, given the time.

Perfect for the generation of emotionally stifled male adults who still live in their parents basement and play video games until 3am.
Yes, I’m that grumpy old boomer who came from a time when we gave up watching cartoons at about the same age that we figured out Santa wasn’t real.

    Yes! And kids!

Absolutely.. we’re watching a different game now that’s just not quite as good.

I actually got a little sick watching that remembering things like Johnny Knox getting broken in half. The changes to the rules that they’ve made are the right moves, even if it sterilizes the experience a bit.

I didn’t notice Kingsley Jonathan really at all during the game (although TBF I was watching at a sports bar and not in my living toom at home like I would usually be doing)… but they make reference to him being all over the place in a good way a couple of times throughout this.  Was he?

I remember the game @Chicago last December he was a game-wrecker.

I noticed him getting knocked down a couple times

Wyatt Teller was a late round pick that had no reason not to like Buffalo

Seeing as we were the team that gave him his shot

He wasn't great here..  he got beat out by multiple journey men and it lit a fire under his ass when we traded him

He also went to a scheme that fit him

It's literally b******* to say he didn't want to play Buffalo... There's nothing that shows that

His comments when we was traded indicated he was pretty excited about the trade, but that’s perhaps due to the opportunity that lay ahead of him.

He needed a fresh start anyway, as I said at the time when I predicted he would find some success with his new team.

Dude was so far into his head he was tripping over his own feet and looked nothing like his college tape. The Bills had to move on. And I'm no apologist for the FO.

I think there are certain players who didn’t really want to play in Buffalo and their performance indicates that. I put Moss and Wyatt Teller in this category. Gilmore a little bit also, but he did perform here.

Yeah.  He clearly had given himself up and was not trying to advance the ball.  That could have been a really bad turn of events if the Bills hadn't been able to push the ball out from the goal line.  Could have been a safety, or could have resulted in a punt from the back of the end zone.

Seems like a “common sense” judgement that the league likes to make.

  8. This was probably the best defensive performance I can remember from a Bills team, at least in terms of the stat sheet- sacks, interceptions, etc.

Sidenote: Why is the Tre White pick not a touchback? He dove and landed in the end zone and didn’t attempt to advance the ball. If a guy catches a pick on the 1-2 and his momentum takes him into the end zone they almost always call it a touchback.

This is why Kirk Cousins sucks. Veteran WB and you don’t hurry up and spike the ball after getting a first down. They nailed the Chargers out.

That was completely idiotic. They need a TD, have 4 chances and time for maybe 3 plays max. Awful

Pretty sure it was the veldt, not the tundra.  Unless those lions took a really wrong turn somewhere...

Actually, come to think of it, I'm pretty sure the title of that story is "The Veldt" !

Yeah, The Veldt. That was some wild literature for a 12 year old me.

This reminds me of when my wife was giving birth to our son. She was recording the labor (part anyway) and she caught me watching the Bills game. Oops

Your child has a lot of nerve coming forth during a Bills game.
