I’m trying to figure out why everybody clowns on Kyle Allen
I mean, yeah, he’s friends with Josh Allen
But the guy has NFL experience not only that he has NFL winning experience. Has he been a starter for a whole season? No but he has won games
In addition to that his personal strengths, match our 2° no he’s not Josh Allen nobody is but he’s mobile and he’s got an arm on him
I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do in camp
Hell oui! Looking forward to him getting action with a 21 point 4th quarter lead in several games this season.

The last bills game I didn’t either watch or at least keep up with online in real time was in 2008 against the 49ers. We lost 10-3 and it seemed like a pretty pitiful effort. It was my dad’s 60th birthday and we were in Hawaii. Aside from that, I’ve planned my schedule around games without exception. If you’re checking an NFL teams message board several times a day in April, you can’t miss any games during the season. I don’t know how the folks who attend church deal with this. Sounds complicated.

Malcolm Kelly
Seems like there was a run of tall, slender receivers that were busts. Malcom Kelly and his legendary freestyle, James Hardy, Limas Sweed…probably more

It brings his tenure to crescendo and will cement his legacy as a Buffalo legend or merely a good HC that couldn’t quite make it to glory town.

My optimism sees Ed having a great season in a contract year and he helps us get that Lombardi. If the guys in the top of my field could get 23.5 million a year, I would ball out.

My god, anyone can see that Davis blew that play. He could have easily slowed up to make a catch at helmet level and been completely ran over, which would be an easy PI call. Instead, he hand checks him for several yards, which basically negates any PI and turns it into “hand fighting”. Then he doesn’t get his body under the ball or even get a hand on it when he could have easily had both hands on the ball. It was a terrible play on his part on a 70 yard throw from JA. This is who he is. Pretty good, but not good enough to make that catch and never will be.

I’d sign my children away to get out of that room. Good lord, it’s like the Windows 3.1 Hot Dog Stand color scheme.

I met Nesby Glasgow randomly on Harrison St several years ago. I recognized him from an 81 Topps card that I remembered. I loved his f’n name.
What’s the odds you run into a barely remembered ex nfler who played for the colts in a major West Coast city 3O years after he retired?
I said, ‘ you’re nesby glascow!’.
He stopped, looked at me derisively for a split second then said ‘ yeah’.
He had a guy with him that may have been his entourage or maybe his adult son - neither was very warm but behaved very Hollywood.
Oxygen was completely sucked out of the interaction so I said, ‘cool’ and continued on my way.
Nesby Glascow.
I remember that guy from my Seahawks game programs from the late ‘80s. Number 22 maybe?

they all should have been fired after " 13 seconds" after with no explanation or discussion about what happened...from the kick out of the endzone to the no coverage defense
They did basically fire the ST coach for the kick. And Levi Wallace more or less took personal responsibility for the coverage debacle.

I like a wonderfully executed play action pass
I’m with you here…a play action roll-out especially. It always seems to have potential for a big gain on the throw and the chaos is exciting.

Funny story, a friend of a friend of a friend showed up to pitcher night at the bowling alley about 18 years ago wearing a Herbstreet Ohio State throwback jersey. It was so incredibly stupid, I couldn’t stop laughing at him until I realized he was ready to kick the crap out of me and I had to weave a tale about my cousin wearing number 4 and being obsessed with it and so on.

I don't think this is ridiculous. It's a valid concern. If the Dolphins convert a 4th and 8 to get into field goal range to win the game against us with 15 seconds left, but snapped the ball 1 second after the play clock ran out, you would be pretty pissed they were not set back 5 yards instead. No exploding balls. In the year 2023, we should be able to notify the ref in some way where he doesnt have to take his eye off the ball.
Exactly. See: Texans 3rd and 18 conversion in the playoffs a few years ago.

The issue is that it allows for yet another subjective call from the officials, which allows them to control the game even more they already do. It’s a countdown timer. When it’s over, it’s over.

I'm less impressed by the Diggs trade than you. Yes, he has performed marvelously. But the Vikes took Jefferson with the pick we gave them. Now they have a younger, cheaper, arguably better player, as well as that fourth round pick we also gave up.
You want an eventual starter with your second- and third-round pick. Neither Epenesa nor Moss are/were close. Davis and Hodgins were both very good (not great) picks. Dane and Bass were both great picks.
Beane has built a solid team but hasn't provided enough elite players. Allen, Diggs, Miller, Milano, Hyde. That's it. With the holes the roster has, this isn't enough.
That Diggs pick for the Vikings could have easily ended up being Jaylon Raegor which would have made it a laughable win for us.

The bengals getting first downs on half their plays and having multiple several minute drives also played a part.
