Hmm, not sure NFL players and coaches need media to show them how good their next opponent is.
You'd be surprised how many players know what the ex-players say about them on 24/7 NFL news cycles. These shows help form public opinions with fans. Endorsements come from the public's jersey consumption and social media involvement.

This is always bad karma when these shiftless noaccounts start making headlines with prognostications. The Bills will be must see TV, but it's better when expectations are lower. Now teams will circle the date when they play us and figure their reputations will be made beating us. These SB pickers didn't do us any favors.
-
The idea of picking the Bills before seeing them in a real game is sweet and popular with Bills fans.If they stay healthy they should make the playoffs. Can we see how teams on their schedule come out of the gates before putting them in the SB.

I'm confident the Bills will score enough to win most of their games. The question for me is can our defense hold elite offenses ,(ie. KC,Bucs,Colts,Titans, even NE,) under 24. That will be the difference between 14 vs 11 or 12 wins. If I had to predict, we win 13 games. I think KC, Bucs and NE once , with an unforeseen clunker.

Pretty much he knows any shade he throws at Buffalo will get him attention. He's also apparently decided that his being a fan of KC prevents him from looking at them in a professional manner which honestly fits with the kind of crappy commentator he is.
But my biggest issue with him is his holier than thou attitude with the anti-Buffalo rants. The guy is a fan with a paste on goatee.

Nick Wright has been given the license to be silly and make imbelic prognostications in the interests of being controversial. He should be dismissed by all rational observers.

Sorry, being a fan is commendable, but reality must be a consideration. Kelly was great and accomplished a lot, but in the biggest moments, he fell a little short. Brady came up big in more post season games than anyone in history.

Sexual assault has a stigma that many women don’t want given to them. That’s why so many sexually abused women never tell their story. They are scared if not being believed, especially if the accused is famous as CB was back then. They are also scared of the offender, especially one that was in the public eye.If she was assaulted, she has every right to do what she’s doing. Regardless of time frames.
Not disputing her rights, but at the same time, in 30years if the evidence is substantial, CB ha the right to be presumed innocent
-
With all respect and compassion for victims of sexual abuse, after 30 years to file a complaint against an ex ballplayer to extract a monetary award is a little much. To pile on this guy because he had a previous conviction is just the wrong precedent to set. He should be given the presumption of innocence until overwhelmingly evidence is presented. Why would any victim bury something that was so damaging for 30 years? These exfootball players are easy targets.

Have you told that to him in person? I find message board posts have a hard time giving a player the urgency behind being on probation.
Of course, I speak to him every day. He knows he's toast if he's pedestrian this year.

I posted these elsewhere but here are their stats. Reminder that Hollister has played 4 years to Knox's 2.
Here is a knox/Hollister comparison
Knox: 52 catches, 676 yards, 5 tds in 2 years
Hollister: 74 catches, 652 yards (!), and 6 tds
Hollister has played with Russ Wilson and Brady so he didn't have scrubs throwing it to him either...
2 extra years and he has a grand total of 22 more catches or less than 1 per game. He has 24 less yards on 22 extra catches. He has 1 more td in 2 extra years.
The stats say Knox is better. Knox has been in the system for 2 years. It really isn't a surprise.
I'll flip your Sweeney question, what has Hollister shown that Sweeney hasn't? Sweeney again has 2 years of familiarity with the team. Hollister has his own injury issues. I think you are spot on that he lost his job to Kumerow but he is just a guy. He isn't a huge difference maker. He also is still unsigned so if something happens he is available to be brought back in.
I do love that the Bills are in a position where people are complaining about keeping a 3rd te instead of which qb we want to see starting.
Like this one that helped us win the game?
Knox is like the little girl with the curl. He can be spectacular and then inexplicably drop wide open passes or miss a block that blows up a play. Why are constantly trying to get a more consistent TE for either down field production or better blocking. I'm rooting for Knox to realize his potential.

I do think everyone was a little too hyper focused on any drops he had.
Until he makes crucial plays and stops the critical drops and missed blocks, he's on probation.

This is a move that doesn't make sense unless he's coming back. Knox has ability but will break your heart with untimely drops. Gilliam is a blocker and short yardage diversion. Hollister was one of Josh's favorite targets at Wyoming and was a contributor on a good Seattle team. If the reason was they thought Sweeney could bring more, I'd go with experience on a SB contender.
-
Josh reminds me of the awe inspiring QB play of the 1990 KGun Kelly. The ball comes out so fast with such command of how to move against any defense. Factor in the run threat and the fact that his freakish arm strength can fit balls in the tightest of windows and you have something very dynamic.

A team player. Common sense move. The league will squeeze these unvaxed players and make their lives miserable. As a fan, I applaud McKenzie.

This position has a dark cloud hanging over it. Star is a potential Covid protocols problem. Phillips has a knee injury and Boogie might profile more as an edge guy. That leaves Zimmer and Ankou with Butler, who they were looking to offload. Not my idea of positional strength. If we have problems stopping solid running attacks, Beane's inability to bring in a Dtackle will be the reason.
-
Love to get Roberts back and and make McKenzie expendable.
-
We better have depth at receiver because the 3 guys(Cole,Isaiah and Davis)will invariably have issues with suspension or Covid quarantining. These question marks, along with breakthrough cases leave a cloud over the position group.
-
Beasley has to take one for the team. He has expressed his feelings about choice, and as a citizen outside of the NFL, that's perfectly fine. Unfortunately, he has a team's fortunes in his hands because of NFL protocols. It becomes a commitment to your teammates and the fans, who pay your salary, issue. It's a privilege to play in the league.

What a very curious move bringing in this pedestrian warm weather punter. Hard to imagine Beane would pass on our vet punter who improved every year for this gentleman. Gagging up field position with this Miami reject is hard to swallow. Beane will never admit an unforced error so early. We better be efficient on both sides of the ball to overcome this weak legged punter.

The problem the Bills have is that there's little quality depth at corner and Wallace has missed time the last few seasons. I like Wallace but he is targeted a lot with Tre on other side. I thought they should have signed Nelson or brought some proven vet in already. I'm sure Beane is aware of this.

Who is Andre Smith and how great did he play last night. Love to see more of him in regular season. Stevenson is going to be a candidate for the final 53. His speed and special teams ability make him valuable. Webb looked far better than his Giants version. His runs on broken plays and IPOs were impressive. Rousseau looks like he could be big contributor. Finally, how about Bass. Best kicker in recent Bills history.

Davis Webb - showed everything I want in a 3rd QB, led the only TD drive by the Bills
Motor Singletary - Looked ready for the season, happy if we don't see him again until opening day
Greg Rousseau - Looked dominant, came up with key sack early
Andre Smith - All over the field, great INT called back by penalty
Jaquan Johnson - solid in the secondary, pushing hard for 3rd/4th

Devin looked like his rookie year. He had a burst and looked more physical after contact. With Moss in year 2 and #22 providing some outside speed and some O-line improvement in run blocking, could be we're setting up an even more explosive offense. Let's keep everyone healthy.

So many reporters, analysts, and talking heads picking the Bills to win the Super Bowl. What changed?
