  1. Tough first half for both teams. Gritty game. Figured Colts will keep it close, now we see what happens in the second half.
  2. Been able to run it decently effective for 60 yards so far. If colts are able to run the ball, it opens the door for Rivers. If the Bills start shutting the run game down, Rivers struggles having to throw constantly. Colts have had a balance attack today, I’m surprised. Thought the Bills would keep out run game in check.
  3. I just wanted to say good luck today boys, this board has been fantastic and you guys have shown nothing but respect for me. I will definitely stay around here, and if Buffalo wins today I will be rooting for them to go all the way
  4. Believe it or not, there was a late fumble in both games.... Houston could have won both games if not for the late fumble. Both drives to close it out at the end, the ball was fumbled and recovered by the Colts.... (just the way Houston's season has gone) So yes the Colts could have lost both those games and missed the playoffs. That is the consistency thing with Indy this year in the second half. Dominate time of possession on both sides of the ball in the first half, and then get completely out played in the second.... If they do that against the Bills, this game won't even be close. For the first time all year, the Colts win need to play for a full 60 minutes (something that is rarely done by them) Can they do it? Time will tell.....
  5. The main thing is the pressure....... I have yet to see anyone in the world other than homer Colts fans like me say we will win lol, and even then we are not expecting a win... just a prayer.... With that said, pressure can do crazy things. It's no mystery as to why Peyton Manning and the Colts won their first ever Super Bowl as a wild card. After dominating the 2005 season, and being one and done to the Steelers, nobody in the right mind thought the Colts would go to the Super Bowl the year after as a wild card team and having to get through the Patriots. I do expect Indy to keep this close at least for 3 quarters as they have with all teams this year, but the 4th quarter is the Colts kryptonite this year and that is where Buffalo may pull away. Buffalo is rolling into the playoffs right now, and Allen looks like the hottest qb in the league... Pressure or not, I think the Bills will come to play. Colts will have to score early and often to keep up in this one. I just can't see the Bills laying an egg in this one, especially with 2 years of playoff experience behind them.
  6. Rivers had a pretty special year in 2018... It was overlooked because the Chiefs and Ravens were so good.... The chargers had a really good team that year.
  7. I won't even lie.... I definitely got the spelling wrong LMAO. I was trying to think of a clever reason as to why I did, but I got nothing...... I swear I graduated university lol!!!!!! I have failed
  8. He has had ankle issues all year, I wonder if he will get surgery in the off season for it.... Hasn't missed a game because of it yet, I would assume he will play but all depends how he is feeling before the game.
  9. You and me both my friend! I can't wait!! Taking my kid over to my moms, have some whiskey and watch some football.
  10. She has watched quite a few Colts games this year with me so she should be able to tell the difference..... I hope LOL. She will add sault to wounds if she cheers when Buffalo scores!
  11. My Fiancée said "Great, two teams wearing blue and white, how confusing" hahahaha
  12. Well said, especially in the playoffs. You just can’t lay off a team at all. If you aren’t up at least 28 In the 4th, you have to keep pounding. Colts have pulled off some pretty amazing comebacks. Lucky for the Bills, the Colts worst quarter is the 4th. If this game is a blow out after 3 or Bills are even up 10 or more it’s likely over. Colts for some reason just seem to crap themselves come the fourth quarter this year. I will watch because I have what all Colts fans have. Hope!!! My realistic opinion is the Bills will slaughter us like a pig before the 4th quarter even begins, BUT I have hope we can make it close. Opinion and hope are two different things. I will watch my colts till the day I die with hope. We are under dogs and the entire world is expecting us to get our ass kicked, but there is still the hope and prayer that we can keep this close and maybe even win Thats why we play the game!!
  13. Well said, I remember the Packers game well and they got up a couple scores and seemed to take their foot off the gas a bit and went conservative... Ended up leading them to one of their only 3 losses on the season. I really don't know what to expect out of this game, my gut tells me the Bills will win by double digits..... but you just never know.
  14. Completely agreed..... Colts only chance in this in my opinion is if they can successfully run the ball and sustain drives. If this is a shootout we have zero chance, Rivers isn't even close to Allen.... That is not the game the Colts want to get into because they know they have zero shot, but if we can even run the ball half decent I think we can keep this game close. Time will tell and we will know in the first quarter what to expect. If the Bills shut the Colts run game down and are up 10-0, this game won't even be close because they will rely on Rivers to try and keep us in it and he just isn't that good anymore.
  15. Absolutely! Come playoffs, anything can happen. I will never forget when the 7-9 Seattle Seahawks took out the defending champs New Orleans Saints..... Playoffs is a strange strange time lol.
  16. "Colts fans extremely optimistic" *Looks at thread to see the first 10 comments of fans saying we will be blown out lmao* There is very few that are optimistic about us winning... I am not going to go and count the votes, but guarantee if I did 80 percent of the board thinks the Colts will lose. There are a lot that think we can make this a competitive game, but I don't see too many comments saying we will win this.
  17. Honestly, I am not too sure..... Coaches get conservative it seems and have a tough time adjusting..... If the run game gets shut down as well, Rivers seems to be struggling with putting the team on his back (he is getting old and doesn't have the ability anymore) Also wish sometimes Reich would light a bit of a fire under the team... For example against the Steelers, the Steelers had all the momentum and were scoring at will, while the Colts kept punting.... It seemed Reich just kind of sat there and made zero adjustments. I would like to see a gathering on the side line under the lines of *Get your sh*t together!!!!!* If everything is going great for this team, the run game is going good, the defense is playing good then they have a good chance of winning.... If not, Rivers just isn't capable of putting the team on his back like Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck used to do.
  18. Further more to my post, Colts only one time this year have been down more than 7 points through 3 quarters (that was the horrible game against the Titans) The exact state for the Colts (AFTER 3 QUARTERS) in ten games this season they have had a lead, 1 game they were tied, and 4 games they were down 7 or less.... Colts will keep this relatively close in my opinion for 2 or even 3 quarters.... But it's the 4th quarter where they have the most trouble and likely will lose the game.... Then again, they may very well lose it after the 1st quarter if they have a half ass performance, and the Bills show up like they have the last few weeks. You may very well be right..... Colts just haven't been consistent and the Bills have been, but any given Sunday and the Colts did win 11 games so they aren't push overs by any means.
  19. Colts aren't consistent this year as much as it pains me to say it.... We have all pretty much agreed on the Colts board that if this Bills team plays like they have the last few weeks, Colts have next to no chance.... Like I said in a previous post, the Colts might keep it close at half time (maybe a 7 point game) but the Bills will eventually blow them out by the end of the game. Indy seems to score and play great in the first half, and then struggles to score more than a field goal in the second half.... It's happened in 6 games this season where they are nearly shut out in the second half. Only way the Colts have a chance in this, if the Bills hurt themselves and not play up to their potential much like the Ravens have the last couple years in the playoffs..... I doubt it will happen though, the Bills look like a well oiled machine that is ready to play some playoff football.
  20. Completely agreed!!!! And fans can have debates but still be professional about it!! I have never been to Indy but I want to one day. My fiancée goes there every year because she does dog sports, and they have a huge flyball tournament there every year. We wanted to go this year, but with Covid didn’t get the chance. I’m hoping next year we can go!! I live in Saskatchewan, Canada. I have seen many Edmonton Oilers games but have yet to see a colts game live haha. I did go to Seattle a few years back and saw them play Denver. Was a hell of a game and got to see Peyton! Lmao definitely meant edmonton Oilers in hockey hahahaha.
  21. Absolutely!! It is great to see you guys play so well...... The division belongs to Buffalo for the foreseeable future in my opinion. Colts are going on 6 years now not winning the division lol, but happy they are in the playoffs regardless... Might be a fast exit but at least they made it. Well look at the bright side..... If the Colts get blown out and have a fast exit, I always have my Edmonton Oilers to disappoint me.
  22. That is pretty much the Colts game right now.... Run and pound, and dink and dunk. Rivers isn't great at throwing the deep ball.... He can still do it don't get me wrong but it's just ugly when he does lol.
  23. That is my biggest fear with the Colts.... They can't put together a full 60 mins.... In at least 6 games this year, they have scored 17 or more in the first half and then just 3 or 0 in the second half..... I think the Colts will keep this reasonably close for the first half... Maybe something like 20-14 at half..... But if the Colts can't compete in the second half, this game will be a nasty blowout and Bills will win by 20 plus. I couldn't stand Rivers trust me.... He was so arrogant in LA and always beat Manning and company when we played them. I definitely haven't minded having him on the team, but at this point he is just a game manager.... He won't lose you many games, but he damn sure can't put a team on his back like he used to. Colts definitely need something (I wouldn't be surprised if Carson Wentz came to Indy) time will tell.
  24. Lmao, valid point You guys definitely have a special QB..... Man is he ever fun to watch. I found myself watching quite a few Bills games this year. A rematch of Bills and Chiefs could go down as one of the greatest games ever if these two play like they have been!
