The irony and contrast in the weekend news about Diggs vs Josh is incredible. It’s like that friend we all had—the one you kinda got thrown together with at school etc, but now you just have to move on from.

I appreciated that they put together stats for each prospective QB—it felt like a way to balance things out and ask, “If this #17 guy had a decent line or receivers, how would he have performed?” And we also have to accept that Beane got some luck too—just like Jobs, Gates, and Buffett. A big idea and a bit of luck go hand in hand.

Gabe reminds me of a few board members—had his moment, especially against KC, but it’s starting to feel like a high school athlete who peaked once. Time for our WR room to mature and move forward.

Meanwhile, the team only led the entire NFL in scoring, averaging 31 points per game.
Yeah, what a disaster — clearly not enough offense.
We can debate it all day, but last I checked, the team that scores the most usually wins.
Maybe he’ll still trade for a WR, which would at least fit with his “bad ROI” comment about this draft class.
I still want a speed guy, but honestly, it’s hard to argue too much when you’re already putting up 31 a game.

CLE smart risk vs reward play. They drafted the QB they wanted and tossed in a 2nd. 5th rounders lucky to make even BB practice team, if you could later get trade…..even have your own pitchman.

Very good DBs selections for a while. I was shocked he was still playing.
