It seems that many of us think the same thing:
- Josh can take us to the Last Dance and get it done
- McD, D and Bass can stop him in any moment
If Josh will overcome this trio, he’ll become the new legitimate GOAT.

Right now Tyler Bass is reminding me of Scott Norwood.
Need I say more ??
Agree, every time i see his number called, it’s a coin toss.

14 teams get into the playoffs. So I think the Bills odds are somewhat better than 7% since we're somewhat better than the average playoff team. Our D worries me, particularly with the injuries (but even without them). Let's call it 10% or so that we win it all. 20% we reach the SB.
I'm not sure why injuries don't count. Every team has injuries but not all teams have the same injuries. There's a gigantic difference between a backup QB with a minor tear to his non-throwing shoulder and a starting QB with a broken hip.
Obviously when i said “injuries don’t count” i meant try to keep out this factor because otherwise it would be impossibile to make a forecast
Let’s say every team at its best

Less than 50%.
This defense is atrocious. That was actually a decent showing from our D line….. you know….” The problem”.
Josh is currently peaking and this isn’t the time to peak.
If we get the #1 seed I’d feel better but it would still be three games, Josh had to be perfect and McClappy doesn’t screw it up.
Add in Bass and 🤕
Your statement about Josh status is really worrying me... hope you are deeply wrong. 😅

Ok fellas, i'm just curious to see where are your expectation right now, after the Lions game.
Based on how we are playing overall, on our D issues, our explosive O with Josh "The Alien" Allen and ultimately, based on our Coach and the duo Brady and Babich, what our chances are ?
- 50%
- from 50 to 70%
- more the 70%
Injuries don't count, every team has their problems there.

A few things on this:
- 225 of those yards went to backs and tight ends. The Bills were giving the Lions the underneath routes to attempt and not get beat over the top. This works extremely well to the Lions advantage when the Bills pass rush doesnt get home.
- The Lions were down the entire game. 494 yards isn't exactly earth shattering when you throw the ball 59 times.
- The Bills held two backs who are on pace for 1,000 yards a piece to 2.8 yards a carry.
- The Bills are absolutely beat to hell on defense. Down to their 5th safety. So beat up at OLB they had to have an injured player come back into a game (kudos to you Dorian Williams, a lot of heart there). Down to their backup cornerback etc.
- The Bills had plenty of defense until the end of the 3rd quarter of the game. The Lions are good, get over it.
I have no clue why posters on this board would rather focus on the negative parts of a win, rather than the things the Bills actually did well. Like I said yesterday, I think many of you think its still 1995 NFL. This is the game the NFL wants. Offensive holding was called at a minimum. There were 3 quarterback sacks on 93 pass drop backs yesterday. Think about how insane that is.
I wish to see less prevent-zone defense, that's all. But maybe i'm worng...

McDermott’s stubbornness with the soft zone/prevent is mind numbing.
It turned a blowout into a nail biter.
That’s my biggest gripe about a great win.
Move on to NE.
Exactly on spot, exactly what i meant.

I swear to god some of you ignore context or reality with posts like this.
The Lions were the top scoring offense in the NFL coming in (actually still are today by a sliver ahead of Buffalo), the Bills defense was out 75% of the starting secondary before the game started. Then they lost Bishop & Milano in the game as it turned into a pure track meet. The defense did what it could which was not a lot given the attrition. I know morons like yourself want to believe every player on the bench or roster can just step in and be fine, but there is a reason why when starters are out in the NFL teams exploit it and it causes issues. Detroit fans are saying the same thing today as their D has been pretty good this year but also was severely banged up itself yesterday which the Bills took advantage of. If both teams are healthy its 24-20 maybe 28-24 or something, but the NFL prioritizes scoring now so it is tough for any defense when you have two offenses like yesterday.
You can disagree with morons like ourself... that's not a big deal, take it easy, we can have polite conversation.

They did that in the 4th quarter yesterday, but they didn't do that first half. They did very little of it last week, the issue vs the Rams was too aggressive not too conservative.
I didn't see many blitzes in this game... nor aggressive stick on 5 yards agains their WRs.

A lot of it was garbage time
It was 35-14 ( should've been 38-14)
It was 38-21 ( should've been 41-21)
Then it was 45-35.
It shouldn't of come down to an onside kick but a lot of guys were out and some of it was a little luck.
That st Brown long TD isn't happening again. Bernard was within an inch of an int
These rams and Lions might be the two best offenses in football ( obviously buffalo is number one)
We're fine
I'm not saying we are not fine... i'm saying that if we have to score always +35 point to win games, we could be in trouble the day where our O is a little bit off and we need our D to win that game.

The performance by the defense wasn't that bad. Played well enough to get a 35-14 lead. Gave up only 21 points after 3 quarters. It would have been nice if they could have carried that performance throughout the 4th quarter. With the Lions offense they were going to get their yards and points especially with them desperately trying to get back in the game.
To me they play always a scared conservative D. Ok... they don't want give up big plays... but something i can't really stand, is when we give up the third downs with a +10/15 yards. I'm really tired to see our three LBs fall in drop coverage giving the O all that soft cushion.

Or did you mean Center?
You know what i meant bro... C like CHAMPIONSHIP !

I mean: antoher very good win to haunt the nr1 seed, but again another poor D performance. Again 42 points allowed ? Oh well.... i really can't see how we cen reach the goal when we always play this atrocious zone D where good QBs always destroy us. Always in drop coverage... i'm sick of that.
Goff almost 500 yards ??? Com'on....

After reading the forums this week I am 100% confident in saying there are so many people here that don't know what a "prevent defense" is and how it's different from a zone defense.
When i say “prevent defense” i mean defense that play scared, i know that
we play that f*****g zone D.

Pretty clear you really have only one point.
Maybe you got me… but hey, if the defense doesn’t put the game on the line very often, despite all the great Allen performances, McD wouldn’t have the chance to mess everything.
-
Going forward, what will be the Bills weakest point ?
To me, our D-line is lately pitiful, but McD is most of the time concerning, soon or later you know that he’ll do something stupid, when the game is on the line, he never fail with some of his boneheaded decisions.
ps don’t forget our “wonderful” prevent defense, always giving cushions to WRs, always exposed in the soft spot and with zero pressure and sack at the QBs. We need to play with no fear on D, not like dolls.

He will never come out and publicly say it but I am sure deep down Josh wants to earn an MVP. You can't tell me winning the Most Valuable Player award at the highest level of your sport wouldn't mean anything to him
But I feel like it's something that would also mean a lot to the fans as well. We haven't had an MVP winner since 1991. All the suffering through the drought years with B level players. It would definitely mean something
This is something i agree with.

It seems that every year the fanbase is who care the most about Josh winning it, more than Josh himself and more
than the Bills organization.
What you think ?

I’m start thinking that this rookie has something special… do you agree ? Not only at running, but like a pass catcher also.
James Cook is a very good rb, but maybe, repeat, maybe, Davis is the real deal.
