Maybe hire us as draft scouts? 🤷😎

Sometimes I think the NFL wants certain players in certain markets ...of course I can't be sure but it enters my mind. 13 seconds away who would think Cook puts that team over the hump? It's baffling and I just can't root for whoever dons the colors anymore. 50 years of the team being my heart i think I can be critical at this point since being a passive fan brings no championship.

Could've had Breece Hall and Tariq Woolen in the same draft. Instead they reached for Elam.

I was in the draft chat with ya that day. Boy did we get some negative emojis.  How can we see it and Beane can't. We knew we were Cooked. Lol pun not intended

Okay, then I definitely agree.  I think that the Bills need a power runner too, that Cook is not the every down back that can plow through the line.  He is going to be a great player, is maybe there already, but not that kind of back as he is too slight. In fact, I think if the Bills think he is, it will diminish Cook's skill set and get him injured.

Damien Harris now?? Though I have also been calling for more of Murray since the first week of the season and very happy to see Brady using him much much more.

In the draft next year, the Bills will likely get a top tier every down bruising back.  Perfect skill set needed? A Maurice Jone Drew clone, almost unstoppable, great runner, great speed,  great at catching the ball, and great at blocking.

I'd be excited about a Tahj Brooks or someone in his or Damien Martinez mold.

I think Cook is a piece they paid too high a price for and are too arrogant to face it at the detriment of the team and anyone interested, but the stats trick a lot of people so Beane really doesn't give a hoot. Mission accomplished.

    Lol!

You still think that the Bills should just forego the run, basically!??

Were you a Bills' fan during the 2021 season?

What made them maybe the best team in the NFL after their 7-6 start?  They became the #1 running team in the NFL after that, after making Singletary their featured back--that is what made Allen reach his potential for the rest of that year and then in the playoffs.

I think it is laugh out loud funny that some are sticking by this ignorant take, that Allen should just throw it, that the running game is not important.

It is vital, in the most literal sense of the word, for the Bills to have a shot.

No I think they should run. Defenses just don't care if it's cook getting it. He can't hurt em. Cincys revered coordinator put 2 spies on Allen. I've never seen that before. Run with a punisher they get tired of tackling and make them support with safeties. Then Allen will own them.

LOL.  We have averaged 34 points per game in the last 2 with Brady as OC and Cook as the main back....who had 100 yards total in both games.  34 points a game isn't good enough to carry or something?

Give them something to defend besides Allen. They don't give two ***** if Cook gets his yards. Nolike he's wearing them out. The negative plays pile. You guys think he's Barry Sanders and can make up for it. He's never broken a big one cause he has no power.

He always looks like he’s out for a brisk jog when he has the ball.

No passion, no anger no heart.

But I guess that’s why Pacheco is my favourite RB

He broke away with that speed once .  How'd they catch him.  2 defenders caught him. You're not wrong .

This was covered in the post-game interview with Brady. Cook was not benched. The subsequent plays just called for different personnel packages.

So why dress him? They try to get a lead or catch up without him. Then give it back when he enters the game. I'll tell you why. Cause Beane made him a high pick.

  7. Another brilliant Beane head move...keep rolling your eyes maybe you'll find your brain. Why does Buffalo have to be the rejuvenation/retirement home where the guy can still be revered in greatness? A cast off cause he was a shell of himself after a productive career. I'll tell you why, cause Beane tries to appease fans instead of winning.

Cook was drafted BECAUSE of his receiving skills.  That's what made him attractive to the Bills.

And he catches the ball pretty well.

And no one's talking about the rain.  That was tough weather to play football in.

That really shows ya how much of a reach he was. Yet they make him rb1. A piece, that they didn't need. Elam then Cook.. after 13 seconds. Suicide

  9. The whole Cook pick is a joke. Like we don't know what a championship rusher looks like. He's like the fast athletic wrestler that you know is fun to watch but can never become champion of the world. He's meant to appeal to fans like C Biscuit and fantasy nerds who get aggravated when he only plays a 3rd of the game.  But to draft him so high every fan should make Beane know we see the horse ***** of the sellection.

  10. There's an interestingly worded article on the front page using the word wrestle in the title.  EPA is a trendy stat and gamblers focus on, just like the trendy term analytics before it. In the 90s you punted. In this article, McDermott wows us with parity... yet we all see the LB's rostered save Milano and already know there isn't much chance of stopping the run. EPA, though gives a real time filler to the talking heads, a real explanation to the Bills' mediocre squad despite the undisputed strength at QB. The infatuation of the Bills brass for the undersized athlete is by design. That's the irritating part for me. That's why I encourage using a voice to let Beane and the boys know you have eyes. Boo like you're from Philly. They'll give you a winner.

Players and refs are not above being influenced. There is big money involved. Anyone that thinks it is not a possibility doesn’t live in the real world. But hey. It’s for entertainment purposes only.

I can agree with that.  I'm not gonna knock how an individual uses it for his entertainment whether gambling, live games, or however.  I think if it was completely legit all the losing gamblers would be winners and all the plush gambling houses wouldn't exist. It's a high dollar, political influencing machine. I mean we all pretty much know who are the better teams.   How much rigaroni? Idk and who really does. I think some teams act stupid purposely. Not to mention Beanes choice of personnel, but a simple example is the Chargers coach continually making choices any 5th grade fan can tell is dumb move.

(Please don't merge this with the thread complaining about the Bills/Eagles officiating.  This is different, with wider scope, and not limited to the Bills.)

There have always been suspicions that the NFL is fixed, but this year seems almost blatent.  There have been a ton, a ton of badly officiated games this season, and not just involving the Bills.  The NFL is in bed with Vegas and the gambling apps, that much is fact.

So, my question is, what do you believe?  I don't believe the league is outright scripted.  But I do believe they have preferences, and are not afraid to unleash the officials to get the outcomes they want, based on trends.

I hate to be that guy.  I hate to think about conspiracy theories.  But the officiating all around the league has been laughably

The Bills made this guys list a couple times. Be careful. It might really change your Sundays if you watch enough. Open at your own risk

I mean, Brady was universally praised for the last two weeks gameplans, but all right. I certainly think it helped.

Do you think Dorsey wasn't an issue at all?

I think its a collective philosophy issue starting with the GM. I think the whole old Josh new Josh narrative is misleading and he can play well under either coordinator.

  14. 1 hour ago, Bruffalo said:

I don't even understand what you're trying to say here. The coordinator change certainly has helped.

They told him to go win and save their ass. No more we need you to not take hits and run as much. Wtf you think it was Brady? 🤣

  15. 42 minutes ago, Bruffalo said:

Not defending McDermott at all here but Dorsey was a legitimate problem.  The difference in Allen has been night and day once he got canned.

It's a McDermott issue ultimately anyways. Dorsey should have been canned before the season started.

Pretty sure the coordinator didn't change Allen. It was team philosophy to save on the number of hits and pass off the rushing duties. Except they didn't roster a real rushing threat the equivalent of Allen and it didn't work. Guys like you were satisfied with the dismissal til the problem persists and leaves zero doubt.

Good excuse. Beane shoves Cook on him and gives him a handicap. Everybody knows, but the Bills fantasy football fanatics

  17. All these coaches but nobody calls out the GM. They were given Allen. No Johnson, Lombardi, Parcells or Gibbs is gonna win with the little guy at RB1. Still beyond the obvious they weren't given enough to work with. Every year those close to the team, like Kelly, and nationwide ask when they'll get the qb some help. Last year's blame was the OL, and  now the coaches. Cut to the chase and stop wasting this guy's career.

The NFL is not rigged against Buffalo.

The NHL is not rigged against Buffalo.

Yet fans still think that there is a script.. they then proceed to watch every game and still complain which I can’t get my head around.  You watch a sporting even that is supposedly already decided.  You supposedly already know and accept this.  Then you complain about it while putting money in NHL and NFL owner pockets.  Queue the Twilight Zone theme.

This theory that sports leagues are hellbent on not allowing Buffalo to win are so rampant and widely accepted by our fanbase that some people should get together and film a documentary about it.

The NHLs Blues winning the cup that year they won would be like the Giants winning it all in the NFL this year. Out of nowhere just not mathematically toast. Any sport with a betting line has some level of chicanery.

I'm just not stuck on Cook.  Yes, they need WR's, and a coach, and to get younger on defense.

They draft elam and Cook 1,2. Beane not using his noodle. Cause he doesn't have one. They got cushy jobs. Fire the coordinators, it's their fault lol
