Just such a false narrative where you are cherry picking guys.  Along with other guys previously mentioned and misrepresenting starters on you list - in 3 minute I found:

Mitch Turbisky - starting QB Pittsburgh

Nick McCloud - #3 CB NYG

Davis Webb - #3 QB NYG

    Matt Berida- #2 RB NYG

Efe Obada - back-up DT in Washington

    Plus guys like:

Jack Anderson- Back-up guard NYG that Philadelphia plucked from our PS

I am sure we could find several more you left off and those are just guys from last year.

How much playing time are all of those guys expected to see.    While we all want to see Mitch be a better player than what was shown during his BB time, the rest of the players that the team has allowed to go elsewhere has entered an echo chamber of "maybes".    That shows some of the strength that the team has built, and I will not be shown an alternative fact right now.

  2. I still honestly believe that Benford is Poyer's replacement, and all we are watching him for the weeks until Tre is ready to go is his audition.   All of the tea leaves to me are pointing in this direction.   I realize that Poyer is a captain (along with 8 other teammates), but there is a true dividing line of "core talent" and "other talent".

THIS IS THE WAY.   THIS IS THE PROCESS.

  3. Fitzgerald is not starting level material----constantly too slow and a turnover machine.    We can blame Dahlin, but who was he stuck with....

Team also stopped attacking once they got up 3-1 and then paid for it dearly------Canes are a legit top 5 team.

Anderson let in a softie also.

  4. The item that gets lost in many of these sort of observations regarding our lack of YAC is that the offense (and could possibly be a reflection of Josh Allen's tool set) has been predicated (in many situations) on Josh making the correct read and then throwing to "a static position" on the field.   Unless we're talking about "down the field" or "cross routes", there are many times where the throw windows in the Bills offense just isn't there for YAC.   I don't think that this is a reflection of the shortcomings of our WR/TE's but just due to the types of routes being run.

  5. My thoughts on the kick is that Bass was asked to pooch it numerous times during the Tennessee game and executed it flawlessly.   I was there, they were trying to take advantage of a perceived weakness in the TN return game.  If Bass is a professional, he should be able to execute that play to an acceptable level every single time that it is asked of him.   End of story.    If executed correctly, it would have put KC in a pressure situation trying to return it "enough" and not burn substantial clock. It was interesting that they did not put Tyreek out on that return, signaling that they were not explicitly trying to get any sort of substantial return.

  6. Honestly, either one I'd be fine with, but I don't think that Beane is staying put at 25.    Too close to the summit to not get one player to put us over the top.   I know they talk about building for the long-term, but seeing the Bengals with all of their deficits in the SB its gotta be burning the McBeane organization that it could (should) have been us.
