    I'd like to see them throw a bunch of new wrinkles on both offense and defense (not trying to lose the game,  obv).   Thinking flea flicker, Knox actually taking the snap after lining up as QB,  specific targets to Beasley, some interesting zone blitz schemes.   Continued commitment to the running game would be important as well.   This could be a very entertaining game with alot of back and forth.   Bengals run game is the part that worries me---Perine is one hard dude to bring down cleanly.  Tackling well is going to be very important.   Let's go Bills!

    As a matter of semantics, I am not opposed to the scheme.     I was just pointing out that the scheme put a more intense tackling penalty on our secondary due to the natural alignment.   This was not a response to a single game, or really even a particular season.

    *  Late in the 4th quarter with the game tied 17 - 17 the Bills punt the ball to the Jets 4 yard line.  A three and out and the Bills offense has great field position to use up the rest of the game and escape with a win. Instead the Jets run the ball down the Bills throat driving to the 3 yard line and kicking the winning FG.

     

    There was always a possibility that the Jets D would give the Bills O trouble.  But the idea that the Jet's offense could go on multiple long, time consuming drives at critical points of the game was something I didn't think could happen.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    These mental gymnastics to me are the ones that make me laugh.....the Jets punched us in the face today and we were okay with it.   Josh continually was looking for plays that weren't there.   I don't know if he expected them to have some options open deep but they weren't there and he refused to check down.  On defense, they made Zach look great with easy throws to the backs or timing routes that maximized routes being at an X spot.

    I have watched every game since McBeane took over and then some.    This is not a response to today's debacle.   I am glad that there was a full thought experiment done before lambasting me.   Thanks alot for stopping and not just toting the company line.....great job.....
