At least you forget how many holes left to play.  Most a**h**** forget how many times they hit the ball. 🤨

The brain hasn't gone as quickly as the body yet, but yeah some guys do conveniently "forget" how to do math out on the course. 🤔

Honestly the part that pisses me off the most is slow play.  Guys all checking out each other's upcoming putt on the green (like it'll make any difference) when the fairways and tee box are filled with folks waiting to hit a ball.  🤬🤬

I agree. He also seems a lot more confident this year to me. At least from the presser I watched the other day. I’m not saying he hasn’t been confident before, but I just got more of a “this is my team” vibe from him now.

Without a doubt.  Agree 100%.  There just seems a real comfort level around the whole team, even with a few new guys.  Not a new system, not a total roster change over, not a bunch of new coordinators / assts.  Keeping the band together (for the most part) from last year is really going to help them, especially out of the gates to start the season.  If they want to get back to the AFC title game they will be well served by a fast start to get that momentum going - and a lot of that's going to be on Josh's shoulders.  Looks and sounds to me like he's up to the task.

9.5 handicap after playing only for a year, and with no lessons? That’s seriously nuts.

It is, but it certainly helps to be a world-class athlete as well.  By hole 13-14 (no cart) I'm usually like "How many holes do we have left??"  🤪

Poyer clearly attacked the game with some serious determination - glad it helped him out so much!!!

True, it was simply calculated risk to help this team get to the playoffs when we got off to a 5-2 start with a team that both Beane and McD already admitted didn't think was that good.

Ironically Benjamin seemed to play well when Peterman was throwing the ball to him (when he wasn't throwing picks off course).

Kelvin thought Nathan was throwing him cheeseburgers!!

But yes, sometimes those calculated risks don't pan out.  I'm sure that will happen again, but at least Beane and McD were trying SOMEthing.  Better than playing it safe.

I still can't believe we traded a 3rd rounder for this bum.

Definitely Beane's worse move here by far but he was only a rookie GM at the time and it's not like it set us back too much given the current state of the roster and WR depth chart.

Yeah, one of only a few blemishes so far for Beane, but I think he was feeling kind of desperate for help at WR.  Who did we have at that point?  Zay Jones, Jordon Matthews and Deonte Thompson if I'm remembering right.  Pretty slim pickings.
