  1. I think we change game plans (would be an obvious take but never know with a McDermott team) and stack the box to stop JT and let the defensive backfield hold its own - it’s not Miami so I don’t see them COMPLETELY gashing the running game against us - but idk

i also see a balanced attack and moving the ball at will - which will be encouraging

JT gets his yards - I just can’t see us not winning comfortably

    34-20 Bills

Dorian Williams and Damar Hamlin are both problem spots and Miami spent the majority of their day attacking those two.

I hope that both of them are backups by New Years.

Yep been saying it all year Dorian Williams is NOT a starting caliber linebacker and it’s getting worse becuase like you said - teams are exploiting him

im Andy Reid - when I play Buffalo I’m attacking him all day

    hes late on coverage

he’s late on filling running gaps - I saw one that was terrible yesterday where our guys set the edge and mostert had the entire side of the field to cut back to - the edge guy was like wow where is my help!!!  Williams was 8 yards back - no where close

I thought a cool statistic through 8 weeks is that the Bills (Allen) lead the NFL in big time throws. Obviously this is mostly a passer statistic, I think it reflects the changing landscape of the passing offense. Allen has always done well in this metric, it is impressive that he’s maintained this ability while limiting turnovers. I think it speaks to the shifting focus on efficiency we’ve seen. Other items to note:

Through week 8 2023 vs. 2024 Passing stats:

    Passing Yards:

    23’ - 2108

    24’ - 1766

    Passing Touchdowns:

    23’- 17

    24’ - 14

    Interceptions:

    23’ - 8

    24’ - 1

All in all, I don’t think you can say the WR room is better and to credit with this…but I think you can claim they managed to find a way to make it work.

I think Gabe Davis was a bigger problem than we realized - just seemed half or more of those picks last year were because of Gabe
