I was telling my wife the other day, he is kind of like the Dennis Rodman of the Bills...unique personality who both loves and excels at doing all the dirty work others aren't good at or don't like doing that really help the team win, and then can still make plays when needed too.

I just keep thinking back to all the flak and push back I got when I kept telling people this guy not only was better than what they think, but he was going to play relevant snaps here and have a real role this season.   What was really unusual is that when I would say that, it would spurn two different camps and arguments.  Some were pissed off seeing him as a waste of a roster spot and a scrub who wouldn't see the field (like Kumerow)...or others were pissed off that he was actually going to play and have a role here proclaiming he was a scrub and barely roster-able.

It is nice to see the turn around on Hollins, and he earned that on the field.  He isn't going to lead the NFL in receiving any time soon, but he is exactly what some of us said he was going to be.  A dirty work specialist who is a more than capable receiver that is the 4th or 5th option.  First half the season before I had a 2nd baby and moved across the state I was able to watch ALL22 each week.  And Hollins was standing out a lot of weeks where he was affecting most big plays and scores either directly as a receiver or indirectly through things like key blocks or clearing out the coverage.

With how the coaches and players feel about him, I would be a little surprised if he isn't back next year...and I personally would like to see him back.  That does NOT mean I don't think we need to add more to the WR room, because I do think WR, DL and probably Safety will (and should) be the biggest priorities in the offseason.

I said the SAME THING to my coworker yesterday - he’s like a Dennis Rodman - complete menace and quirky - but not so dirty
