Rotoworld already rumored us to be in the mix but I think it makes total sense:

    1) A back up with starter potential - should Josh Allen ever get hurt for multiple games, Rosen has a higher ceiling that Barkley.

    2) A healthy competition to push JA - Lots of the top QB's around the league have solid back ups behind them to help the starter remain accountable - Rodgers/Love, Brees/Winston, Carr/Mariota, Trubisky/Foles, Wentz/Hurns, Baker/Keenum, Prescott/Dalton

I love Josh Allen and think he can be our franchise QB, but I would feel a lot safer seeing him hurdle opponents with Rosen holding the clipboard.

Why do you want garbage backing up Josh Allen? None of those are solid backups just FYI, except maybe Dalton but we have already seen his best.

So the NFLPA is talking about possibly sitting out a week at some point during the season, just like the NBA pulled their boycott, and apparently they have spoken with the NFL about it.

Last thing we need is more people sitting out for no reason. Play the game you get paid to play.

Interesting article and something to think about.  I think the TV deal gets done and the cap goes up, but if it doesn’t...

Tre can probably be re-signed in a way that works with the cap because of what he’ll be owed for his 5th year.  But Milano, some of the other guys coming up?

I think Beane is operating the right way and the Hausch cut makes more sense.  Star deferring to next year I think hurts us a little, as I think he would have been a cut.

Either way, a lot of teams could be in some trouble.

Not really something to worry about TBH.

In light of what going on in the country I wanted to get to the bottom of why Fitzmagic is so popular among Bills fans where Tyrod is not.

My thought is it all comes down to heart. Fitzmagic didn’t care about throwing picks but he was gonna try to get that critical 3rd down conversion no matter what. Like when you can tell watching the game on TV “If we don’t get this one it’s over” Fitz could care less if he threw at pick at that point because he knew the game was over either way if we didn’t convert.

Tyrod was the exact opposite he would never lose you a game but if we were behind the chains at all(e.g holding penalty or sack) we might as well have punted on 3rd down every time. As frustrating as that may have been he would rarely turn the ball over, especially when it mattered most. ( e.g. last year when Fitz threw a pick to TreDay allowing us to climb back into the game). To add to that I believe Tyrod was a main contributor to us ending to drought.

My assumption is Fitz is viewed as a warrior, much like Josh Allen, and Tyrod is viewed as a game manager which is why there’s a disparity but perhaps I’m just oblivious.

Actually Fitz had in his contract to throw a certain amount of INTs a year. Also his contract is voided if he makes the playoffs.

It was not the worst but it was one of the most obvious mistakes. He was 5th round not 6th. But it was obvious to me he wasn't draftable.

5th round who cares, insert any Bills first round bust and it tops Peterman. 5th-7th you take chances in guys who wouldn't be drafted by some teams.

The man holds collegiate and pro comeback records that speak for themselves. One of the best backup QB’s the league ever saw, and an even better man off the field. To the OP’s hypothetical point, I would say why wouldn’t he?

Fitz is his best comparison and he can't take any team he has been on to the playoffs.

This take is so laughably terrible i can only assume you are too young to have been a fan during the '90s run.  Reich was crazy clutch during those playoff years.  And many, many fans were calling for him to take Kelly's job at certain points during this time frame.  Fans love for Reich had nothing to do with race...lol...and everything to do with his clutch play.

If he was clutch he wouldn't have been a bad QB.

There are are so many great Christians, good, even great people both big and small. But there is also these parasites that just feed off the faithful

Such power to do good just wasted and used for profit and to hurt people. This creep has fought against Americans getting health care. How many suffered so that this garbage can enrich himself

Being Christian doesn't mean anything... It is just a word used by people to try and put themselves in a category. Religion doesn't work anymore b.c too many people realize it's bull#### that hides even worse people.
