He was outjumped because hopkins is a lot taller and has a huge wingspan. Can’t do much about that.

you can if you put tall people who can jump back there. Honestly what do you have to lose if Allen is back there? Ok so Allen gives up a TD to Hopkins, the result is the same, but at least a head coach tried to do something creative.

Fair point but do we really trust Gabe Davis or Dawson Knox of all people more than our actual defenders ? Belichick loved putting Gronk on D, and it actually bit him a few times.

In jump ball situations, I 100% trust Allen or whoever to stop Hopkins. Way more than White.

I’m honestly not even mad about it. Hail Mary, miracle play.

This place is going to be intolerable for the next two weeks though, I know that.

I am mad about it because McDermott isn’t creative enough to think outside of the box in Hail Mary situation. What does the team lose by putting Josh Allen back there? Or attempting a rugby type jump?

I think Edmunds would be the guy we would want back in a hail Mary situation

    Not our franchise QB

Allen is tough as nails, he would be fine back there.

After last year everyone was talking about Milano vs Dawkins....it could come down to Milano vs Williams. If Klein and Edmunds can play another couple of good games together, we may get our answer on Milano.
$10-13mil a year for a Very good RT is a much wiser investment than a banged up LB’er.

Give me Daryl over Milano any day of the week. Better investment.

The line is much harder to build than LBs. Rather find a way to keep Feliciano and Daryl.

What is the fascination with asking “what is the fascination with ex panthers”?   Like this hasn’t been discussed 82648482 times in the last year

here’s the answer to your question.:

Beane (and sometimes McD) scouted and signed said ex panthers.  He didn’t cut them either.  Makes sense that they would, at least, bring them in for workouts.  Not sure why this would be confusing to you

I understand what they are doing, but it’s borderline  ridiculous now. It’s time they branch away and find talent elsewhere.

Yes, the Ravens are extremely well-rounded and add Ngakoue. The Bills are in extreme need and add.....this guy?

It’s asinine, it really is. I had faith in Beane, but my patients are beginning to wear thin. I just get upset watching teams like Pit and Bal somehow manage drafts and signings like a pro year after year and yet always seem to have the money to do it.

We’ll always have Zack Moss and Vosean Jos...oops! Never mind.

Kidding on Zack Moss...a little. He may turn out a fine player, but no question I’m taking a top flight pass rusher over a backup RB all day. McD and Beane have really struggled to get anyone in here that can give a consistent pass rush.

Meanwhile teams like Pitt drafted players like Watt and Dupree. While we spin tires on Maybinites.

someone mentioned it yesterday and people flamed him.  damn beane needs to go for the move. this team needs a playoff run

How can we when we pay good money for subpar talent? We always do this, coupled with subpar drafting. Meanwhile real competent teams like Pit and Balt draft and sign great talent year after year.
