I say DHop. The Bills need a #2WR. Somebody to go to when teams try to take Diggs out of the picture.

As much as I want Hopkins, I think Henry makes us a more dangerous team. Why? Because it immediately keeps teams away from playing 2 high safeties, AND a big AND it allows us to get Cook out in space a lot more because Henry is a very capable blocker and decoy at times and vice versa. More 2 RB sets makes us dangerous as it makes teams play us both ways.

They don't even try this with Murray/Harris. I've been advocating for your concept. I'd even like to see a FB lead block for Cook.

Murray/Harris are no Henry. But you are right, our coaches are to dumb to try creativity and varying formations.

Leaning Henry because he’s more of a unique threat

I would fully be happy with either, but the reason why I choose Henry is because I feel like that would put a stop to teams playing 2 high safeties. We still have Cook, so we could play more 2 RB sets with Knox out.

DEF has tons of injuries, mac jones torches DEF to win game, trade for RB.  This seems like a logical order of events.

It does if teams offenses can’t get on the field and control the TOP. Cook isn’t physical enough to make teams stop with 2 deep safeties. That immediately changes with Henry in the backfield. Since Knox is hurt and basically not doing much this season anyways, we likely move away from 2 TE sets. Which means we leave Kincaid in as a true route runner in 1 TE sets and have 2RBs in the backfield, Cook and Henry, and send Cook out into the flat or running routes. Teams won’t know if we are passing or running and can’t play 2 deep with Henry on the field.

    Yay?

The Colts put an emphasis on the running game because they suck at passing the ball.

Congratulations, Zach. You wouldn’t have done that in Buffalo no matter how many times you were handed the ball.

Because our coaching sucks. Look at Teller now.

Zach Moss is now the Wyatt Teller of RB's.  Beane can hang that on his resume and speak of it when referring to his miscalculations.

The problem is further pointing towards coaching and scheme. Talent evaluation does look ok.

I think he generally looks like a guy who would 100% rather be on a golf course anywhere else in the world.

Which is concerning. He doesn’t put in the extra mile in the off-season like some of the greats either. Sigh.

Beane should have known he’d tear his ACL! Fire him!!!!!!!!

He’s old. It was a known risk for someone of his age and mileage. While yes a lot of us wanted Miller, but in hindsight it was not worth it due to the age risk.

Dorsey and McD... find an offensive minded HC. I think it may be too late because Josh is already 6 years in now, and for a QB who puts his body on the line like he is we may have wasted his prime years, TBH.

I think we should consult our 2 best players on offense for their opinions first. If they are frustrated with the lack of talent support, then I’m going after Beane first.

  9. If I’m the owner, I’m sitting down with a private meeting with Allen and Diggs. Telling them quite frankly that this season given the investments made is unacceptable. Their comments are completely off the record and will not get back to the coaches. I want them to give me an honest assessment of what they believe is the problem in why we are struggling and not getting to the Super Bowl. I ask them, of the 4( Beane, McD, Dorsey, players), who is the main concern. If they tell me other players are not pulling their weight and aren’t reliable to win games, then I’m going to Beane and firing him. If they tell me the team has enough talent to win and game planning is lacking, then I’m either firing McD or Dorsey. If that is the case I’m going to both of them and telling McD if we fail to make a Super Bowl appearance this year, he has to fire Dorsey, and that I’m giving you one more year to bring Buffalo a Super Bowl or you’re fired to. Figure it out, fire is officially lit.

Jet lag has NOTHING to do with last week or today. The Jags game, sure. The rest, no.

It has nothing to do with anything. Jet lag is for 50+ year olds who get cranky if their nap cycle is disturbed. We are talking about athletes in their prime and 1st class flying where you can lay down and sleep.
