  1. I have never ever seen someone who can drop a football so easily. This is embarrassing.
  2. Thanks for the comment Mrs. Simpson. Winfield was pretty darn good as a rookie. Clements isn't any good now. Simpson stinks - no instincts in coverage and shys away from contact.
  3. Let's please add Ko Simpson to the "God Awful" list.
  4. Ha Ha - the reverse psychology worked!!!
  5. You'd rather go the next three years with a guy who obviously can't play? Come on.
  6. Losman is absolutely dreadful. I know there aren't any immediate solutions but I hope to God this is the last year of this farce.
  7. Today is the day that Aussie Saverio Rocca has his try out as a punter. It seems possible that the Bills held the final two practice squad spots open for projects - C.J. Leak yesterday and Rocca today.
  8. I'm hoping they have. Didn't say they didn't.
  9. How can they not put a waiver claim in for this guy to back op Fletch? http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/187516
  10. Buffalo cut him in June - never even made it to camp.
  11. That isn't true. Only the 3rd QB can dress as #47. The others change into street clothes once declared inactive. There is absolutely no truth to the injured player being deactivated and the inactive taking his place. Where did that come from?
  12. Nice work Boondock! I've been judging talent since 4th grade. In all seriousness, for anyone who understands the game and has been watching the situation closely, this was not a difficult call. When a guy spends his entire time working with the 3rd unit, the writing is on the wall. All one needs to be able to do is read and he can figure out what will happen next.
  13. You're probably right - another well thought out comment on your part. Gibson has been such a star in the league that more than likely they don't want to burn him out in the pre-season like they have the rest of the starters. You then go on to ask the hard hitting question of - Or are you for Villarrial too? I can't really answer that question because I have no idea what you are asking. Have you ever really watched a game from beginning to end? Keep up the good work.
  14. You aren't getting it. He's always been a bad tackle. He wasn't moved to guard because he's a competent tackle and doesn't need any more work there. Example Greg Jerman - a journeyman at best - played exclusively tackle last year, in order to increase his versatility, he played guard with the second unit for most of camp. The key point, however, is that now he is again getting reps at tackle and played there exclusively against Cleveland. He has shown versatility. So what you are saying is that they are so comfortable with Gibson at tackle that he needs zero reps at tackle in an effort to become versatile? Very hard to believe.
  15. You honestly believe that he was moved to guard to increase his versatility? And because he is such a proven commodity, the coaching staff didn't feel he needed even a single snap at tackle the entire pre-season? He was moved to guard because he's too slow to play tackle. The same reason he was out of the league last year. Now he has proven to be too slow to play guard, hence the reason he is working with the third unit. I still have not seen anyone tie together why his playing a total of 20 minutes in 3 games with the third unit equates to him making this team.
  16. LOL. No, you are "high" period.
  17. Big man...do me a favor...put down the pipe and call it a night. But before you take my advice, look at post #18 in this thread which reads, "Yes. 3 times. And Gibson is still working with the third unit."
  18. Terrence Pennington - a rookie 7th round pick from an average conference is a project. You still have not answered why you are so high on a guy who has played 20 minutes in 3 games?
  19. Someone else who has been drinking please translate.
  20. Yes. 3 times. And Gibson is still working with the third unit.
  21. OK. We are talking about a guy who was drafted in the first round as a tackle, had very limited "success" early on, bounced to multiple teams, was out of football last year, and is on the 3rd team this year as a guard... and you are comparing him to two quarterbacks. Name for me an offensive lineman with a similar history to Gibson who has made it. Mike Williams perhaps?
  22. Is this BoondckCL guy for real or am I on Candid Camera?
  23. A project? The guy is 28 years old! The cast-offs brought in by the Patriots played - genius.
  24. So he's so good that he doesn't play?
  25. Brilliant response.
