  1. So what? I went to Long Beach, Ca on Friday for a textile printing show. Don't brag :(

So, no. Never been. Went to the Bucuti, Aruba website and it really looks nice. Probably too humid though. Glad I'm not going.

No kidding? There were reps from my company at the ISS show. I was at the PPAI show the week before in Vegas.

PM me if you're on the buying end of the industry. I'm in sales for a printer with wholesale access.

  2. No, it is most definitely a Kordell growing on his neck.

I don't know wtf a "Kordell" is, but according to this link:

Illness – a family history of abscesses that required surgery, the result of which is still evident by the raised scar on Coleman’s neck – kept him off the court during his middle-school and early high school days.
  3. Just saying... Historically in the US/UK... Wasn't it considered "normal" years ago to dress little boys almost like girls until they were about nine or so? Really... Not that I agree... History does indicate it was considered perfectly acceptable at one time...:)

But, this is sad story. RIP. ;)

I'm glad you share my sentiment at how ODD this is...

In no way do I mean disrespect to the family, as their loss is tragic, but damn...

  4. That variation of the Bills helmet (as sported by Howard) is the one that I wish the Bills would go back to. The current throwback is okay, but the modern logo, on the white helmet is awesome!

I see what you're talking about (the banner image), but it looks like that's either an alternate or an old helmet...their latest ones are navy and look AWFUL

  5. If this were 2004-2007, this is where I'd chime in and give you numbers to call and ways to resolve this. However, I haven't worked for Dell since Oct, 2007.

Regardless, I've had nothing but great luck with them, but I am aware that the horror stories are out there, and plentiful.

Best of luck to you in getting this resolved and/or moving forward.

  6. Marshall would maybe be a decent add, as they already draw well despite having a relatively non-attractive schedule every year. They would fit with WVU pretty well. UMASS needs to get a D-1 football program like UCONN did. That would work well. But I'm thinking UB and C Fla would bode well for the Big East at the present.

I believe that member schools have veto power. If this is the case, then I don't think that WVU would ever allow Marshall. Possibly same w/ USF and Central Florida.

I can't see SU blocking UB, as that could become a GREAT rivalry.

Regardless, the Big East needs to add 2 schools and a championship game to kill some of the talk that it is undeserving of a BCS auto bid.

  7. As a Cincinnati fan (and season ticket holder), as well as a supporter of Big East teams in bowl games, I'd welcome the addition of UB. Another school would be needed as well, which is the difficult part of the equation, in my mind. Central Florida and Memphis are 2 that are brought up, but I think that both are mid major schools with no hope of bringing anything to the table (in football, at least). Perhaps ECU...

  8. Hey Udonkey, I hope you did not pay face value for your ticket.

I did, actually. As a season ticket holder, I had already put a $50 deposit on the bowl game back in the early summer when I paid for my seats. Ponying up an additional $75 wasn't ideal, but it counts towards UC's official allotment, not only allowing me to sit amongst UC fans, but also helping to do my part to make sure that my school sells their 17,500 tickets.

As of this Monday, UC had sold somewhere in the neighborhood of 13,000 tickets. I still feel pretty good about 17,500+ UC fans being in South Florida for New Years.
