Allen is average to mediocre tho, thats why so many of us are waiting to see if he can break out of that category in his 3rd season.
last season we were carried to 10 wins by our 2nd ranked defense, can't remember a single game where our offense and Allen took a choke hold of the game and willed us to victory.

We are perfectly fine on defense. invested tons of money and effort into improving the defense in the last 2 years.
Next year is all about Josh Allen. We need to do whatever we can in this draft to help him develop. nothing else really matters right now. if that means getting him another WR threat, or backup RB to take the pressure off, or even a OL guy so he isn't running for his life every time the opponent sends an extra man.
we had a SB contending defense last season and what happened? we got bounced in the 1st round because we couldn't score a single point in the 2nd half other than the game tying field goal, and couldn't score in OT.

Gimme an Edge rusher, CB, or one of those 'Buffalo Nickel' players (Chinn or Dugger). They need a complementary RB, not a starter. No need for one in the 2nd. They invested ample draft capital in Stefon Diggs. Time to open up the passing attack and get him the ball.
yes lets add a 24 year old project Safety/LB to the best secondary in the league and best safety duo in the league
total waste of a pick. we spent so much money on the defense in the offseason, this is a make or break year for Allen and a CB or DE isn't going to help him develop. get him more weapons, end of discussion.

IMO Beane will try hard to get a good deal to trade back into the Late 2nd or early 3rd round. He’s mentioned multiple times how he believes this will be a short offseason and if so late round picks will be all but useless
top end talent is always more important

we had the 2nd best secondary and 2nd best defense in the league last season without a top #2 CB we will be fine next year. a 2nd round CB prospect isn't going to come in and fix everything
