There's no HC in the NFL ... hell, there's no other person on the planet ... who claps more than McDermott.

Have you ever seen him taunt any player on any opponent's team by clapping in the player's direction/view?

No.  Because it's Bush League, unprofessional crap.

Brady had every right to tell him to go eff himself.

It's not just Brady in the area if you look his defense is all coming off the field towards him and the Saints sideline.  He's not allowed to clap as they come off after a turnover??

🤦‍♂️CTFD. Nowhere close to the biggest game in the series. Not even in the same universe. This is merely a midseason game. No playoff spots will be awarded for the winner, the loser is still very much in the hunt.

For a little much needed perspective, these teams played in the 1st ever AFL Playoff game in 1963, forced when we ended the season tied. Pats* won decisively then got blown out by San Diego in the title game. The ‘64 season finale between us decided the Eastern Division title where we went on to dethrone the Chargers for our 1st Championship. They were our chief rival the following season as we won Back to Back League titles. OJ rushed for over 450 yards in the 2 games in ‘73, enroute to 2000 yards in 14 games -still unmatched! In the strike-shortened/Scab-ball season of ‘87, we needed only to beat them in the season finale to make the playoffs. They beat us 14-6. We would go on to win 5 of the next 6 Division titles. Last season was the 1st time ever we swept the Division with the closest game being the 1st one with them, where Justin Zimmer stripped the ball from Cam Newton late to secure the win.

    Your table is ready, Sir.

LOL, yeah you really schooled me!  I was talking NFL, and you reminded me about those big AFL games.  And yes those all important  OJ games were really important too!   At least To OJ they were, lol.  Oh and how could I forget the all important scab games??  You are right all of those are way more important than tonights nationally televised game to see who is tops in the AFC east and basically the entire AFC. You're right about 1 thing, nothing is decided by tonights game.  But if you know anything about football,(which from your previous post I wonder if you really understand significance of games) you should know December football among division rivals is as important as regular season gets. Tonight's game sets the tone for the remainder of the season.  Possibly host home playoff games or possibly not even make the playoffs.  Pretty important. Sorry I don't have any funny kid pictures to post.

  3. He played sideline to sideline, put on a great pass rush, and covered his drop back zone area very nicely.  I also didn't see him bouncing off anyone's ankles during a tackle,....cough cough.  Thinking he should be seeing the field a lot more even when everyone is healthy.

  4. Q.  Duh, why didn't they take a knee?  A  Because they couldn't run the clock out.

    Q.  Duh, then why did they go for a two pt conversion?   A. Because that makes it a 3 score game.

This is professional football and kickoffs have been run back for touchdowns.  Also onside kicks have been recovered.  Not very likely, I get that.  But paid professionals play until there is no more doubt. Unless you are pushing for a mercy rule to be installed?

  5. Bills definitely have a few easy ones coming up, but there are more tough ones than people think. As much as we hate to say it, the Patriots twice are going to be tough.  They almost beat Dallas and Tampa Bay and are playing much better.  Games at Tampa Bay and New Orleans are both going to be very tough. Indy is now playing way better and are always in games right down to the end.(Remember last years playoff game?) We could easily win a lot of those games, but they are no walk in the park.

  6. I agree with a lot of the posts on how ridiculous some of the pass interference calls are getting.  What drives me crazy the most is how touchy they will call them all season, then comes the playoffs and it's totally different and you have to actually mug someone to get a flag.  I wish they'd at least keep in consistent all season long.

  7. Have to say I agree with the OP here as hard as it is to.  The Chiefs have been better than us for a while now. Not a lot, but enough.   They can be beat, but it takes a perfect game to do it.  The Browns are much improved as well, and did almost beat the Chiefs last year.  Where we have the big advantage is consistamcy.  Having the same coaches and same systems and most the same players does pay off when you are playing teams with big turnovers in their rosters. That's why I still wouldn't be surprised to see the Patriots struggle again.  You can't replace half your roster and expect to play great as a team. As others have said, I'll take Josh over Baker and Cam any day as well.  So as hard as it is to say we look like we are 3rd on paper, the game is played on the field.  All it takes is a key addition, or a key injury, and to be playing your best ball right when you need to be.  3rd on paperin the AFC is way better than where we were years ago.  We could easily win it all if things work out our way for once.
