The problem is that Hamlin literally died on the field and came back to play the next year. He's certainly deserving of some sort of award, whether it's comeback player of the year, Walter Payton man of the year or something else I'm not sure but he deserves something.

I think he got what he needed, his life. But he deserves no award related to football this year. If anything, he needs to be admonished for his football contributions this year.

I may be simple in my thinking on this matter:

A man returned from cardiac arrest on the field to play pro football again the following season.

    He wins CBPOTY.

I don't care that Joe Flacco is playing good football after a several year layoff. I don't care that Tua is "silencing the haters" after suffering a few concussions during a 13-start season for a playoff team.

A man came back from the dead. He wins. End of story.

Maybe come back to life award… but it’s tough to make it a football award, when he came back worse than last year, and he was bad last year. Your logic is anything but… just saying.

  2. He’s the only player I see on the field and wish Cam Lewis was in his place. Damar should be ‘never’-back player of the year. He is terrible at football. He died, that is not worthy of an award. To get a football award, I think you need to actually be decent/contribute positively in football.

Comeback player of the year isn’t meant to go to a player who plays less and has less impact than the prior year. That’s stupid.

Well, I suppose an article featured in "Wisconsin Sports Heroics," titled, "Green Bay Packers Expected To Sign Buffalo Bills 24-year-old Star Weapon (Report)," containing only blithe conjecture, and written by a die-hard Packers fan, with an associates degree in General Studies is exactly the reason Simon created this thread.

Be careful on who you mention… don’t throw off the Emperor’s Groove! Beware the groove

I don't understand their cockiness.  My best friend is a Dfan and he's talking all this ***** how they are going to win out.  They finally/ barely beat a team with a winning record who's  the worst road team.  And they think he/they think they'll easily win out.  Did they not see what Baltimore did to 49ers?  When was the last time they beat the Bills without 100 degree heat?  And both Wadle and Hill have ankle injuries.... I don't get it.  Thanks for letting me vent ... Merry Christmas  Bills Mafia!!!

Things are looking good, Airseven gave you an eye roll! The gods must be favoring us!

Maybe he's been sore from the game and now moving well.  Maybe he has had some issues off the field with family life and things are better.

Maybe it's non of our business because every Sunday he comes out and puts his heart wide open and plays hard.

If something is probable, there is a good chance that it will happen, but it is not certain. If there is a 90% chance of rain today, it is probable [=it is likely] that it will rain.

The scenario outlined above has less than a 3% chance of occurring and you use the word probable?

I think he was making a joke based on the original thread title
