Front 4 is the weakest link on this team.
Talk all you want about the O but another 150 yards on the ground against and that was one of the worst olines in the league. Little pressure on Baker.
Qb is the weakest link my guy

definitely. Kickers have to make those game winning kicks given the opportunity.
Or are those saying that Allen is trash going to call Mahomes trash because he just lost a game due to his kicker too.
He put up 446 and 4 tds and gave his team 32 points we cant put up 20 so what you said is stupid

They take a guy who is a big arm, high risk/reward player and tell him to play like Tyrod Taylor. You can tell he doesn't trust what he sees. Dabol/McDermott are in his head.
Please tell me how anyone is making him play like tyrod

Did he not make passes to put them in position to make a kick....
Did he miss john brown wide open on a back shoulder by ten yards?

Kickers are paid to make kicks...he did nit do his job today...end of discussion
Qbs are suppose to make passes end of discussion

I agree 95 percent josh allen he is a inept qb can not make wide open throws and we blame a kicker he missed john brown 4 and 4 wide open slant missed Isaiah McKenzie wide open for td missed john brown wide open back shoulder by 10 yards at the end of the game

This is where McD and Beane sit down and evaluate the situation are we ok at every position do we need more depth or take a shot on a bigger name in a trade

Ed Oliver and Jordan are at there best when they play together. When i see ed and star oliver is getting the double and star is having issues one on one when jordan is out there ed still doubled be jordan is he beating his one on one battles a lot more

I've noticed in games 2 and 3 the giants and bengals started sending more blitzes and different pressures idk if josh isn't seeing it right to adjust or daboll isnt adjusting it and leaving it up to josh but its a concern seeing 5 wide and they rush 7 leaving josh on a island

Another 100 mil in cap next year 2 more option pickups on tre white so idk why people say he would be gone. Load up on talent when your qb is on a rookie deal. yeah head case but when winning jalen ramsey is lockdown. Tre and rasmey your looking at the best cb tandem in the league. with hyde and jordan no fly zone could be a thing in buffalo

He had 9.5 sacks in 2017 when Watt missed the entire year. 9 last year in 14 games. He's a 3-4 OLB and Whitney Mercilius is the other OLB who rushes the passer too.
Watt rushes the QB every play, Clowney doesn't. Clowney is also great against the run.
He's been voted top 100 three years in a row....those votes are from the players.
Come on don't tell people that the last 3 seasons clowney played 44 games and Watt played 24. Watt was still on the team so even if he is labeled inactive they still schemed for him just in case he walked off the sideline in street clothes to play

Salty this morning huh. Stay up too late waiting for Shefters tweet? If we get 4 or 5 sacks out of Shaq and same from Murphy we have surpassed Clowneys best year. Pro Bowl doesnt mean as much to me as others (voted by fans). We all get to enamored with some of these players to much hype.
Sure sacks mean everything .Clowney wasn't a top run defender or have 16 TFL
or 21 QB hits?(oh wait clowney was a beast last year) Shaq and trent would have to double there production to match clowney.

Mario was not worth the money he was paid. He played okay when he played but his best days were behind him. He was not the dominating guy you would expect from that level of pay. He certainly didn't help lead the team to the playoffs. I watched him very closely and I watched a number of other players walk down the road because Buffalo didn't have cap space to keep them.
You're right it was his fault fitz, kyle orton, manuel, jeff tuel, thad lewis, tyrod were our starting qbs with the likes of david nelson roosevelt donald jones were our starting wide receivers how dont you rack up enough wins to be in the playoffs . He wasnt a pro browler caused havoc rac up 40+sack main reason our defense was top 10 top 5 you're right

It just doesn’t seem like it’s Beanes Standard operating procedure to swing for the fences for a blue chip player by giving up significant assets. I don’t see it happening.
What are significant assets to you i keep seeing shady(last year not here next year)zay(people here want him gone) and shaq lawson(last year of contract). with the pick being a 2nd or 3rd. If clowney walks we get a third. When your young qb is on a rookie deal you load up welcome to the NFL

I'm gonna hold out hope that you're wrong.
That being said, have you heard anything about Clowney to other teams? I'm on the fence about him coming here, but I definitely don't want him going to Miami...Yeah as i was stopped at a red light i saw someone in a eagles hat and i said clowney to philly he gave me a thumbs down nothing in philly happening

I don't either, and that is what would happen. Throwing money at a problem, alone, does not solve the problem. Frazier and McD would need to be more aggressive in their defensive scheme in order to get the most out of Clowney. I'm not saying to blitz all the time, but at least disguise blitzes, stunt, throw in different looks, etc. Don't just play a vanilla front four look and expect that to intimidate the opposing offense.
A lot of people dug into me in the Clowney is trending... thread. That's fine and what makes this board entertaining. It really is interesting getting many different view points.
McD and Schwartz play similar styles rush 4 and drop 7. We broke the sack record with Schwartz. if you get clowney the front 4 pass rush would be all you need no need to blitz heavy

I would too, but there are multiple people on here who would give the house for Clowney.
Sometimes you need to make a deal to make a push and be a contender

Clowney. B/C he's a defensive player and those guys don't change the outcomes of games.
A strong passing game changes the outcome of games.
Uhhhhhhhhh turnovers dont change the outcome of a game. I wonder way teams vaule OLB/DE who get to the QB if they dont do anything to change the outcome

I didnt mention O'Brien or Ganies name? You just Skip Bayless that and made a phantom point hoping it would stick. If anything you can take from what i said is players have the power and its showing M Gordon,Clowney, Zeke,Trent Williams, mack and bell last year

Are you prepared for Beane to pay Clowney 100+ million, only to watch his effort gradually decrease, as the season progresses?
People on this board are funny every year we need to make moves we need to trade get talent in here spend money . Then we are in reports about clowney and its flips wtf are we doing he wont live up to the contract clean house we are over
16 minutes ago, OldTimeAFLGuy said:...and is he worthy of a 3rd?..........
3x pro bowler 53 TFL last 3 seasons. 59 qb hits last 3 seasons showing he can get to the qb nah id say 7rd or a 6th if you're desperate

I have no idea why they’d trade Tunsil. Those rumors have been pretty widely reported though. It may be overblown but usually when there’s smoke there’s fire. That doesn’t mean that he will he moves but his name has surfaced.
Maybe I’m wrong, but feel like the offer will be a lot more than what people here are speculating. If not, he probably signs the tender and plays out the season in Houston as a Super Bowl contender. They let him walk in the offseason and get that 3rd round comp pick. They aren’t just going to give him away.
The bell situation is how GMs are seeing this. They will give there best offers to a team with no leverage and if the texans say no they could lose clowney for nothing in free agency next year
Daboll is an excellent play caller
