After this I want to see what they said after the Josh Allen pick. Anybody know how to track it down? I did a quick search and couldn't find anything.

I see this draft as a B or C draft. Certainly that could change if the pass rush they are swinging for pans out. If they are able to be somewhat like Philly with the way they were able to disrupt the QB this becomes an A+. To me that would mean a Superbowl. I like the direction, but will see if they had made the right evaluations.

I'd never seen that before.
Thanks for posting it.
Man, that one where the fans are yelling "Sapp, Sapp," and they go TE ... oh, man, the fans knew and the team didn't. If it were any other team it would be painful to watch.
The QB from UC Davis over Marino was bad as well.

What I'm thinking is they may be starting to think Carter may be used a lot more at 1 tech. They also could look for the run stuffer in the 4th with defensive end still a possibility in the third

I like it. Hairston and Benford sounds good.

I didn't know that Deion's son was a player, let alone a top prospect - just not a college fan and haven't been following the draft this year. But I've watched a lot of football in my time... just watched Sanders' highlights. I would say he has IT. Goes through his progressions, scans the whole field, starts scrambling at the exact right time, keeps his head up downfield, scrambles pretty well when needed, places the ball accurately all over the field. Can't ask for much more than that. His windup is a tad slow but that's my only criticism.
That's the problem with highlights. It doesn't show the negative plays that are equally important in evaluating prospects.
I grew up a Colorado fan under McCartney and really like what Deion has done there. He has bright life back into Colorado football which is pretty remarkable with how bad they were and there was no energy behind the team.
As for Shedeur, I have watched him a lot over the last two years, and here is my breakdown.
Positives: he has excellent ball placement. Probably the most accurate passer in the class. He is a smart dude, does really well in school, and studied the game under great coaches. He is tough and will battle through hits, he took a ton of them at Colorado. He seems to have a short memory. He will get hit hard then hang in the pocket the next play and deliver while getting hit again, without shying away from contact. I think he actually has enough arm strength, not elite but good enough to get the ball where he needs to.
Negatives: I actually didn't agree with processing quickly. He seems to take a while to move from read to read. A big reason why he gets sacked so much. His o-line wasn't great, but he also didn't do them any favors. He got away with just throwing the ball up close receivers and because of receiver talent and lack of db talent in the big 12, he got away with it often. Probably a low possibility of those throws working in the league. He doesn't have great pocket awareness, and wil take a sack instead of throwing the ball away. Also, makes a 7 yard sack a 20 yard sack by retreating, and doesn't quite have the speed or agility to get away, making a bad situation worse. He has a pretty quiet demeanor. I wonder about his leadership and gaining respect in a NFL locker room. His brother, Shiloh, is much more like his dad when it comes to being a big loud personality.
All in all I don't think he is going to be a starting level QB and whoever ends up drafting him will be looking for his replacement. Just my two cents from following him the last couple of years.

Caleb has an issue with sacks, but his talent is excellent. Having a real offensive mind will do wonders for Caleb (IMO)
I like Maye, I think he's good. He was in a bad situation last year and played ok. I don't understand all the confidence in that he will take this giant leap next year. He's talented, but he has a ton to prove still
I think Caleb's biggest problems are things that can't be fixed. I think he loves the celebrity and business just as much if not more than football.
I just don't think he has the dedication that you see from the best in the league.

It's pretty clear that if we stay put at 30, there is a near certainty that we will come away with the first 2 rounds with both a DT and CB, in no particular order. Personally, I think the drop off at CB from 30 to 56 is greater than the drop off of expected DT's at 30 and 56. WR is clearly a need and priority based on their visits, but I don't love the value at 56, I think the value will be higher at both DT and CB at 56 than WR and not sure WR is BPA at our next pick either.
So if I was to put a wager on the draft, it would be CB - DT order with out first 2 picks. While WR is clearly on deck, I am not expecting one in the 2nd round as I am not convinced that at either of our picks WR will be the best value. I can see one at 30 or a move up from 30 if the right guy was there, but I think its a much lower possibility than DB/DL.
I think we are going to end up with a pick in the 3rd round...either regaining it through a trade back somewhere or using our large pool of day 3 picks to move up from 109. And I can see WR there and it wouldn't surprise me if it was WR Donte Thornton, he makes too much sense for us, they have had him in for private workouts and we seem to be showing a lot of interest. At 6'5" with 4.3 speed and good hands, he isn't likely reaching us at 109.
yes, he seems almost like the DJ Metcalf of this draft. Not great college production but athletic tests are incredible. I would love to find that in the third.

I feel like the Dane Jackson and White signings put Revel and Porter a lot more in play. You already have a floor of Dane Jackson who is serviceable but mediocre. A mentor in White to help them with the scheme and not be forced into action before they are confident to play.
They both have high ceilings with their physical attributes. Also, seem like Bills type of guys. Rebel could have chased, probably mid six figure NIL money, going into the year and Porter was a part of a program that focuses on humbleness and team goals. (I have a family member that played at Iowa State for 5 years and am well aware of the culture Matt Campbell has instilled.)

The bills trade up and take a QB. That would be a doomsday draft for me.
Other than that I can't think of an absolute doomsday draft. Like someone else pointed out, I don't feel like there is a realistic doomsday scenario for me.

The way I look at this is that New England wanted a more experienced backup for Maye. Milton is definitely talented, but probably doesn't do much for Maye when it comes to game prep, and that is probably more of what he needs right now.
Not a bad move on both ends in my opinion.
Eta: New England's roster is horrible so there is a lot of room for rookies to make the team and get playing time.

As a Wyoming graduate and following his career to Buffalo, this was a fun read. That was a lot of what we had done up there about 12 years earlier.
A lot of Wyoming graduates are now Bills fans following his career from there. The growth has been fun to watch.

I didn't care for the miami as much last year. McDaniel was really blah and wasn't all that entertaining to me.
It's hard for me not to like Tomlin. I feel like I could on pads for the first time since high school and run through a wall for him.

I think that tonight cemented it for allen. If Lamar went off for 5 touchdowns and close to a perfect passer rating like the end of last year, he may have moved up to be the favorite. He was very average and the team won easily.
I think Allen has it in the bag.

We need an anchor on the DL for sure. Let's hope the best version of DaQuan shows up this month.
He has been more noticeable in collapsing the pocket lately IMO
I am still mildly annoyed that we didn't put Eli Ankou on the 53. Dude is really wide and I felt he earned a spot
Yes, I agree with this. It would have been great to get Sweat from Texas. He had a really solid year. I'm not a big PFF fan but did rank 16th out of 218 as a rookie. You can't move the guy and he had 22 pressures and a couple of sacks as well.

On offense, I will keep an eye on the offensive line. Grable and SVPG in particular. The fact Grable passed up Vandemark before the injury when Vandemark has always looked solid in games shows some talent.
On defense, keeping an eye on Cole and Solomon. I think both could be in line for significant playing time next year.

If that was KC the refs would have found a DPI or definitely call roughing the passer to set up the field goal. This is insane.

I see a game like Detroit where they jump on them early. Then they coast, but this time they don't give up a ton of points.

Pats 14

Sometimes it just doesn't work as expected, just like early round draft picks.
They obviously had a bigger role imagined for him with that contract when they didn't have much cash. However, others have stepped up probably more than expected, so it hasn't mattered. With the everybody eats philosophy, I see him making some impacts over the end of the year through next year, it just won't match the money spent, but that is okay.

If the Bills go onto win the super bowl this year, this trade may go down as one of the greatest in bills history. Josh looks so free and loose. He is having fun again.
When Josh is having fun, he is one of the greatest of all time. Especially, if they hit on a really good player that helps them win more super bowls with the extra second round pick.

Let Dorian play. Have Milano back for December/January. Need Milano/Bernard for playoffs, SB.
Did you ever play high level sports growing up and have to come back from injury?
It takes time for you to get back mentally. There is no way I would sit him when he is healthy and just expect he will be great by practicing in season. The guy needs to play as much as possible over these next six games to be his best version come playoffs.
The good news is that he has been able to run and work out his legs throughout, but it will definitely be a mental adjustment to wear off the rust. My guess is he looks slow for the first 4 games or so, and people will be wondering if he is done, then we will see him looking a lot more like himself weeks 17 and 18 hopefully just in time for the playoffs.

I like Cam Ward. Kind of reminds me of Daniels. He throws the ball accurately, has some ability with his legs and has been spoken about as having high character.

I'm just glad that the Bills are in a position that we are trying to see how they could not make the playoffs. Last year was so stressful watching so many games needing to break their way for them to have a chance.
I like the position they are in this year a whole lot better.

I believe there were multiple clips of them hanging out on the golf course this summer. They respect each other as two of the top qbs in the world, and get along outside of football.
Will anyone admit to becoming a Bills fan during the Josh Allen era?

Josh Allen actually brought me back to watching the NFL. I will probably be named for this, but I grew up a dolphins fan watching Marino.
I was following college mostly, and watched Josh a lot at Wyoming, my alma mater. Watched some of his games as a rookie, and have become a full on bills fan. I live in Nebraska and have gone to a couple of games in KC.
Want to get out to Buffalo sometime, but with 3 kids in elementary school and costs with that, traveling is tough right now.
