Loved that first half. This team is fun to watch rather than stressful to watch -- especially when the offense is operating in what had been adventures in the years past.

    GO BILLS!

(My feed is like three plays behind everyone else so I have to pop in and out of the game day thread)

    Mine too.

It's a balancing act to not find out what is happening, but to stay involved in the conversation. Always feel late to the party when about to comment on a play that has already been discussed and moved on from.

They get the ball 1st in the second half and they nearly turned nearly 2 minutes and 3 timeouts into a motivation swing for the Giants.  You just intercepted momentum back, so go in with that and don't risk forcing another momentum swing.

I hadn't even thought about it in those terms. I just assumed McD was happy enough with the score and knowing that we are getting the ball next half.

Makes sense now you say it.

Giants looked good on opening possession, 75 yards on the ground for seven... after Bills go 3 and out, looks ominous.

Defense steps up and begins shutting Giants down, offense gets in gear and looks great!  Allen is spreading the ball around, easily on pace for 300 yard game.  He looks fantastic.

Giants just mounted best drive since their first, missed FG.

Bills get ball to start second half.

Good time to be a Bills fan!

    Thanks dude

  4. My issue with PFF is more to do with their podcasts.

With the Bills, they look at the negatives far harder than the positives. They seem to just not take into account all the game nuances - especially with Allen - and stick to their initial ideas about the players, like they are stuck in a narrative loop. It feels like an agenda albeit that I don't think it is. I think they just don't believe in the players or the team.

The problem is resolved if we keep winning, in all likelihood, but it is more than mildly annoying.

    There are 15 teams with a W

    There are 15 teams with a L

    There are 2 teams with a T

So... Buffalo is the worst of the 15 winners AND the Cards and Lions?????

    Idjits

    see above

Well, the teams above us in the rankings - and not the Cards (30) and Lions (27) - are the Bears (11), the Steelers (14), the Texans (15) and the Panthers (16).

    Doesn't seem that unreasonable.

Steelers might be questionable after such a bad loss, but they often start the season slowly. I think arguments can be made for each of the other to still be above us, after close games against tough opponents.

Besides, it's a power ranking. It's all only based on opinion anyway. And it's only one game in the season, and we did do our best to lose a game in the first half.

    I think it's a fair assessment.

Look....you all can say what you want, but I am feeling pretty good about where we are right now.

We have moved the ball up and down the field and dominated on defense.  Stop turning the football over and we'll be good.  This is a game we should be winning by 2-3 scores easily.

Just gotta keep doing what we're doing and eliminate the big mistakes and we will win this game.  We're the better team.

I'm kinda with you but less good. Highly encouraged, but thoroughly unimpressed. Bit of an oxymoron.
