No one said they were a dynamic duo but ppl did feel it was sound to have a president of football operations along with a GM. We are far removed from that era and now many are starting to see stability and solid FO additions. They have also seen 2 really good to possibly great drafts with some A plus FA signings i.e. Poyer and Hyde come to mind.

Whaley is responsible for Poyer & Hyde.

Is it really being  “gullible” to admit they have a good FO? Are the national reporters who state this, or fans of other teams who say this, gullible or just understand the experienced and developing talent of their personnel group is strong? I don’t think I follow .... which is fine.

It's the meaningless feel good time of year, stories like this do nothing but raise false hope IMO.

I think that is the species in general.....we dont have to outrun T rex for our food anymore

We didn't have to do that 30/40/50 years ago either.  Like I said, watch that Apollo 11 docu, it will make you cry in more ways than one :)

The female figure has gone extinct...

In my opinion, it is, because “Bills fans” aren’t the ones saying it. The Bills have a well respected FO. It’s ok to accept this.

So they'll win games now right?

Not trying to pick a fight, but c'mon, lets not continue to be such a gullible fan base.

Yet we dont seem to have any problem being a fat ugly mess as men

    Not me specifically.....but in general

I actually work out and am not a fat ugly mess, but yes, many men are fat and ugly, however so are most women these days.  Hence the reason many of us wish more women were cuter. Just look around in your place of work, how many women are not land whales these days?  It's troubling.

I just watched the Apollo 11 documentary the other day with 100% original footage, take a look at the body types of the women back then and compare to today, so sad.

Strange comment imo. Do you know who else is in their FO? I’m not speaking of this move in isolation when i say that it is a really good group.

Several current or future GM candidates and/or experience: in addition to Gaine —, Joe Schoen, Malik Boyd, Terrence Gray, Dan Morgan, Lake Dawson, Dennis Hickey

It's not a strange comment.  Bills fans said the same thing about the Donahoe & Modrak dynamic duo.

Unions are most certainly not a cancer.  Their main problem is that they make it too hard to fire a crappy worker.  Grievances, 10 strike and your out discipline plans, only willing to work at a certain station or certain job, things like that.  It would seem obvious to me that a well run union would be open to easily getting rid of the "bad" workers.  It would improve the operations of their companies, potentially leading to more revenues/profits, higher pay/benefits, less offshoring, more jobs.  Instead, they are mostly too consumed with keeping their dues high, to the detriment of their "good" worker members.  Unions are a good idea, that is often executed very poorly and with some obvious corruption.

Yes, hence they are a cancer.  They have been corrupted, no longer work as intended, etc.

Just heard her on the radio.  She didnt sound smooth or polished to be a professional reporter.

I caught it partway in and I thought that they were interviewing an uncomfortable high school or college athlete.  They said who she was and I couldnt believe that was her job.

Already sounds better than Tasker tho.

Why would a Bills fan bet this?  I think what happens here is if you express any doubt over the Bills, you must hate the team.  I think we overrate our team (understandable) and underrate other teams (people were laughing at Miami preseason the year they made the playoffs).  I think this teams are dead even and how each qb progresses will show who will make the “leap.”  But to dismiss the Jets is silly ImO.

    ^^^this

You show any doubt in what the franchise is doing and you're a Bills hater, told to go root for another team, personally attacked and assumed to be all the same dude with multiple accounts (because heaven forbid there is more than one "Bills hater" out there) all the while a few "respected members of the community" act like hall monitors instead of talking about football.

By all accounts, Darnold will wind up being the better NFL QB and many Bills fans just can't accept that out of homerism as opposed to reasoning. Over the years it will be exponentially harder to swallow as we watch Mahomes' career.

I think we have at least 3 good starters. Dawkins is a guy who I feel will rebound, he had no help last year, I think he'll be just fine. Morse is our best center since Eric Wood, he is a mountain of a man. Ford is a guy whom id like to see at RG, he should be a good starter. That leaves two spots on that OL I'm unsure of, but I think mediocrity is our floor as far as the OL is concerned.

Mahomes once again landed in a golden situation. He had a great year, no doubt. My point is, Mahomes would have been a middling QB in Buffalo.

The OL will be better yes, but McCoy and Gore?  I mean, people think our HC is good?  Then why all the ancient RB's?

We'll see, but IMO, OL is not something you fix in one off season and one training camp.  Mosre scares me as injury prone.

You could be right, I could be wrong, no doubt. I personally think Allen takes a step forward this year and becomes a middling QB, albeit a middling QB with the top rushing attack and a top 10 defense.

I think too many fans are under the false impression that because they grabbed a bunch of O-Linemen in free agency and drafted one that the OL is "fixed".  I'm not sold on the "top rushing attack" bit.

And my god, are we shooting for a middling QB after passing on Mahomes?

And?  That means I am supposed to treat his responses differently or something?  I am getting a cult type vibe from you guys tbh.  I have never changed my screen name here, don't even know how.  And WTF does this have to do with Jets vs. Bills?
