I know this is not a popular take, but I really don't think the ref's care who wins or loses. Yes, their calls make a difference, but I doubt there is any discussion or pressure to be favorable to one team or the other for the good of the league. They are human--which is part of the rub--so they will no doubt make bad calls, and at times, their emotions may enter the decision-making process. But intentionally swinging a game one way or the other, I don't buy it.

Dude, it's not that the refs care; it's that they're being told what to do and when; by Vegas Betting honchos.   As an individual game develops, betting keeps happening so odds keep changing by the minute.  Don't you think it's a little strange that these crucial late-game flags suddenly start appearing in critical moments?   Please, someone convince me the refs are not hearing someone in their earphones telling them to throw a flag on this next play or that next play.  As someone said earlier - a flag could be thrown on almost every single play.   So Now that betting is totally legal, and encouraged, I don't think games are necessarily pre- 'rigged', but they most likely ride on constantly moving betting up until very late in the game....

I know the Jets have a great defense, but I swear if we lose to a Zach Wilson led team a third time in four outings Sean McDermott should be covered in tar and feathers and have hot wing sauce poured on his nether regions at the 50 yard line.

The problem isn't with the defense stopping Wilson.  We'll likely hold them under 20 points - the problem is with us scoring MORE THAN 20 points.  That's been the problem all year.  Injury riddled Defense does OK (except for last minute 13 seconds-esque drives in like 5 games), but the offense stalls or turns ball over; if we score a couple field goals more than we did, we win 3 out of those 5 loses.   Even if most of our drives end in FGs that's OK - If we get 2 TDs and 5 field goals we win in the range of 29-20.   Allen will need a couple games to get moving.   Maybe soon we'll be back to the Dorsey Offensive Prowess by then....  (And screw Dorsey for leaving!!  He grew up in Buffalo as a Bills Fan; as one of us - how do you leave 'Your' team, with how great our offense was????

Seems to happen every loss. The offense is clunky, frustrating to watch, struggles to put points on the board. The defense is plucky and does a good job of preventing scores and keeping the team in it.

At the end of the game the offense steps up and takes the lead with a clutch touchdown. And then Defense chokes and loses at the last second.

    It's a theme.

YES!   That is EXACTLY how most of the past several games have gone.  The defense plays OK most of the game but then chokes in the very end (They basically choked in the Giants loss too, but the TD pass went incomplete).

Are we really this bad? This is why I wanted to trade for Adams at all cost. No a fan of Gabe Davis

Gabe Davis is no better at catching and running than any of us.  He is not athletic; consistently drops balls that hit him in the hands.  Put in one of the newer guys; Isabella or whoever - they can't be any worse; and probabably would be more motivated

Diggs was wide open. Josh missed him. How is that Dorsey’s fault?

It's Dorsey's fault because he's making the players think about the wrong things.  He doesn't inspire them.  He's forcing them to be bookworms like him.  I hate his coaching style.  He's not a coach.

  6. They have no belief.  No Mojo.  They have nothing.  This is all on coaching.   This is why they keep calling players only meetings.  They are playing worried.   The fact that McDermidiot basically benches a player who fumbles is babyish and vindictive.  It's BAD COACHING.   You go over to the guy and talk to him and motivate him.   I want Dan Campbell from the Lions.  THATs a coach.   We have book worms and control freaks as coaches.

Cuz he didn't make Cook fumble or Josh throw it that hard or Gabe not catch it.

It's his job to motivate.  To Inspire.  He's boring, low key and belongs in a classroom teaching Offensive philosophy.  He's not a coach.  He's a strategist.  Daboll was an inspiring man; got them going.   I still can't believe Daboll  - who GREW UP IN BUFFALO as a Bills fan - Left.  How would you not want to be involved with Allen and all we were doing two years ago?!?!?

  8. The minute they started trying to keep Allen playing safe was the minute they ruined his game, and his confidence.   Game is over.  We might make a wildcard.  Our time as one of the good teams is over guys.   You can try to be glass half full guys all you want, and I applaud you.  But I go with what I see and what I've seen.  Unfortunately, it sucks.

  9. So Im So convinced all ref teams are under the wings of Vegas.  They have ear pieces and are told when to throw flags; especially on crucial downs.  They make up for it with flags against the other team to make the end of game flag numbers appear close to even.   But Vegas decides who's winning these games
