First, I've been a true blue Bills fan since 1980.  I've lived through the highs and the lows. One thing I have come to understand about the game is that it has to be played prior to declaring a winner.  I read throughout a variety of news reports, interviews, story's, updates, etc., that we need to have already made our reservations for the Super Bowl.  This really scares me (maybe I'm more of a frightened, tainted Bills fan these days). There are so many variables that are outside of anyone's control and there are numerous challenges that will arise which may, or may not, contribute to a loss here and there (see Jacksonville from last season).

I suppose my point is this...let's move away from declaring and move towards supporting...through the good and the bad. Never too high and never too low!  Go Bills!

This might bethe most competitive AFCin History 7-8 Super Bowl worthy teams are not going.  Could be the Bills fate.

The new formations with Howard and Cook are going to be frightening for DCs

Almost.  Not quite enough speed.  The TE Doesn't have ability to dominate a game (yet).  Unproven coordinator-might take a period of adjustment.   Rams won it all without Robert Woods.  Cheifs have Kelcey.  Bengals are especially loaded at WR.  I say tied for 3rd with Bengals.

Trade our first rounder and Edmunds for a ready to go game changer on D like we did with Diggs. We're too far down in the draft to get an impact player so get one that's ready now.

    edmund's contract makes him untradeable

  4. A few that aren't often mentioned.

    1.  They have some overrated players in their lines: Star/China Doll, and Mitch Morse.

    2.  Edmunds couldn't find the right hole to fill if they put cones up for him.  He also gets himself caught up in traffic all the time.  Esp. apparent in NE game.

    3.  Their guards are too slow to pull so they run by just pushing forward.  Pretty hard to do when their guards aren't good at that either.

    4.  Their DEs are constantly getting buried inside by WRs and TEs.

It's not a terrible take, or a "take" at all. It's the truth. The Bills are top 5 in yards per game and yards per attempt.

And the fans come on here and spout nonsense about having 1 CB on the field or moving our nickel corner to the boundary? It shows a hilarious lack of understanding of how football works.

Stopping the Jets, Texans or Saints run game is no great feat. The have played 4 good teams and lost to 3 of them.  2 of those teams buried them with the run.  Do you want to go 1 and out in the playoffs?  Then don't change anything.

  6. The Bills have gotten old at key positions on both lines very quickly: Darryl Williams, Jerry Hughes, Mario Addison, Vernon Butler.  Star can't stay on the field.  2 high picks seem to be a bust: Epeneza, and Cody Ford.   I think they thought those older players would have another year in them and bridge them to a developing Basham and Rousseau.  The bridge got old and sunk.  They have now played 4 good teams and lost to 3 of them.  With both Beasley and Samuels showing their age this may not be an easy fix.
