The first Bills QB I watched. Joe "The Throw" Ferguson! Happy Birthday, Fergie!

I'm cautiously optimistic. I liken this move to the Rams acquiring Von. Hopefully the results will be the same!

1st person came to mind was "Friggin Lonnie" (Johnson). Next who immediately came to mind & others have mentioned is BJ Hobart. Peterman played one game where I think he was literally the worst statistical QB ever.
Yes! Lonnie Johnson was frustratingly bad.

On the bright side, with Rapp not playing this week, the Bills' injury list is less likely to expand for the Super Bowl.

Why would playing the 4th string RB spark the offense?
Maybe he meant his Old Man

Boring answer, but I remember watching Jon Jansen at RT for Washington and thinking he was consistently excellent and would've been a great Bill.

I looked it up, here's the list if anyone wants to check it out. The Bills have only had one player make the list since 1972.

Thanks. Two, actually. McGahee and Flutie!

It's all pretty inconsequential as far as I'm concerned. Cheers to anyone who can name the last three winners without looking it up. I just want the Bills to win football games!

This is one of your best posts yet. And that's saying something. Thank you, and have a great time in dear old Blighty!

I laughed when the excuses for Edmunds not making any plays was that “he had too much on his plate/it’s not his job/he doesn’t play the same position as Milano, doesn’t have the same freedom to roam.” No, he just wasn’t a playmaker. Bernard undoubtedly has a nose for the football and is making the plays our last LB could not.
And don't forget "He's only 19!"

Can Bobby Hart play tackle?

Mine is not a particularly insightful comment, but we really don't know. It's just preseason speculation and an injury here and there will change the narrative in a hurry. Let's just sit back and enjoy!

Bruce Smith. He got that sack.
"That sack" of his I remember best is when he nearly killed a Colts back-up QB with the last name "Justin". I felt so sorry for the poor fella.

Sam Cowart's awesomeness and how his ankle injury was the beginning of the end of the 2000 season, and really the beginning of the drought. That defense was Super Bowl quality.
He was a helluva linebacker

Dane Jackson. He will be a free agent at the end of the season. Is he good enough to stay with us in the future?
Mitch Morse. The concussions are a concern. He's been solid, but age is becoming a factor.
I don't think Morse should be included as a "make it or break it". He's already made it and has had a good career. Nothing left to prove, but yes his concussion history should be a concern and I would not blame him for retiring after next season in the best interest of his health and his future.
I would include "Rick" Bates though. He can prove this year that he's the potential center for the future. It would be great if he is!

Well we did draft the punt god...
Yes, and remember the talk at the time? That the Bills were so loaded and had so few holes, they had the luxury to draft a punter. What a disaster...
