Knew he wouldn't go NE.
I have a feeling the Pats get Rosen if the Dolphins release him

Unbelievable that this kid is only 22.

IMO in a good system he can be a good starter. Remember that one year?
This year, the Pats aren't going to have a good offence. But if they sign him and put some skill players around him he could be very good, I think.
I could definitely see him going to the Pats but it would surprise me. I think Belichick wants to win with a no name to prove his genius

I swear to God, I did question the school uniform but she said she was going to a Britney Spears convention
-
Would never want him as a starter but would make a great backup imo

"Bryan, how do you feel about your son signing with the Bills?"
"What the f**k do you think? What the f**k do you think?"

It's amazing the difference a few feet can make. If that kick is just a few feet to the left then this is easily the best SB ever for me. Imagine how history would be different.
And can I just take this moment to gripe about Thurman not getting the MVP. I don't care what anyone says, it's bull####. The MVP isn't the best player from the winning team, it's the best player on the field. If you could pick one player from the Super Bowl and he'll play like that for a majority of games for you, who would you pick? That's the way it should be thought of. And when you look at it that way, Thomas was clearly the MVP.

I'm going with Belicheat = Simon and Brady = Garfunkel
Hopefully Belichick and Stidham = Lennon/Yoko Ono.
Saying that, Kraft will probably try and get a ***** off Ono

Buffalo is as complete a team as any other in the NFL right now. The Super Bowl is not a myth at this point, it is a possibility. Start by winning the division, which almost every critic will agree is Buffalos to be had. Get homefield and a bye, and Buffalo is in position to make it to Tampa.
Hmm, so it's the 55th super bowl, exactly 30 years after our first, it's in Tampa and the Bills are on the rise.
No wonder they drafted a kicker, he better start practicing those 47 yarders

I'd honestly be surprised if Belichick signs a 'known'' QB. I think he's going to be so motivated to do well this season with this roster so he can show what a genius he is, that he can do it without Brady and a roster people are writing off.
At this point Brady and Belichick are like two songwriting partners who have had a bunch of hits but each one feels the other guy unfairly gets too much of the credit.

Oh man, I thought we weren't going to have an undrafted guy we all become obsessed with this year. Now we do!
I don't even know him and I already love the man.

The only thing keeping the Bills from being ranked in the top tier with the Ravens and Chiefs is any remaining skepticism about Josh Allen's development. That's it. Otherwise, from top to bottom the roster matches up with anyone in the league. If you're a Josh Allen believer you put the Bills right there with them; if you think he'll stay what he was last season then they are still a top 6 team in the conference.
The general consensus with fans around the league is that he's the only thing holding us back. I really am shocked by the hate he gets on a national level. I guess people just don't have time to watch all the games and rely on headline cliches to form their opinions. To hear people talk you'd think Allen was terrible. I heard someone say the other day that "if they had a decent QB they would have beat the Texans", like that game was all his fault. It's true the pressure got to him in that game, but it's like people remember the crazy lateral to Knox and forget the fact that he had them in FG range in OT before the penalty.
Just now, Joe in Winslow said:Lol the Jets.
Talent wise we're miles above them but the fact is they were leading us LATE in the first game last season. Would you be outright shocked if we played week 1 and the Jets won? I wouldn't. I'd be pissed and disappointed but not shocked.
-
I agree with the OP in that the only team I would be shocked to beat right now would be KC. Even the Ravens we played tough last season and gave the blue print for how the Titans beat them.
But at the same time I wouldn't be shocked if we lost to teams like the Browns, Steelers, even the Jets. The roster looks great right now with Diggs and potentially great 1-2 punch at RB, plus the extra experience for guys like Knox, but until we prove we can score points consistently I don't think we deserve to be one of the favourites in the AFC.
It's all down to Allen. If he can start hitting those deep balls and get going early in games consistently the sky is the limit. Not only will the Bills finally be considered a powerhouse in the AFC but I genuinely think Allen could put himself in the conversation for MVP.

Do you think a lot of people he meets think he has a stammer? "Hi, I'm Jake Fromm from Georgia."

Knox had some key drops but he also made some great plays. I loved the guy as soon as he ran over those Bengals DBs and he made enough plays the rest of the year to make me think he'll show a big step up in his second year.
When you consider they barely threw him the ball in college, I think he did pretty well and has the potential to be really good.

Normally I would think this guy is camp fodder, but the way McD is with defensive players I'm already thinking he makes the team!

I'm genuinely surprised by people being upset with getting a kicker. We've got a great roster and it's the sixth round ffs! Be happy, we're no longer having to convince ourselves that John McCargo and Aaron Maybin are smart picks as we try to pretend the rest of the league isn't laughing at us.

I also think it will be good for Allen's development to suddenly be the veteran who helps guide a younger guy. So far he's always been the young guy in the QB room.
-
In all seriousness, I'm glad they got a QB. Not because I don't want Josh in there (I actually have an unhealthy appreciation/love of Josh Allen) but because the way he runs around and jumps into tackles sometimes I do worry he'll get dinged.
-
yay, we got our new Peterman!

Great youtube highlight of him sacking Josh Allen haha

Such sad news. One of the things that sucks more and more as you get older is that so many people who played such a big part of your youth end up fading away one by one. He was a rival, but I always enjoyed his battles with Marv (thankfully Marv won most of them) and I liked his work as sportscaster.
Thank God for YouTube so whenever we're feeling misty eyed we can go back and spend time with these guys.
