Other than the people who died because of Cuomo's disastrous nursing home policy, there isn't a scrap of evidence that any American has "died [from CV19] when they didn't need to."  And I'm guessing there will be far, far more people who will have permanently lost their jobs and businesses than families "bankrupted by astronomical medical bills from battling coronavirus."

The notion that people living their lives without masks is "deliberately putting another person in danger"--like driving drunk or indiscriminately firing a gun in public--is frankly just insane and is not supported by any scientific evidence.

It is easy to dismiss the threat until it effects you directly.  I hope you never have to lose someone you love or care about because someone more ignorant failed to do what is right to protect your said loved one.

I disagree with virtually every “fact” asserted in this post.

The greatest damage that has and will have come from this virus (or rather our response to it) is the baseless fear has been instilled in  a generation of humans, who are being trained by the media and by brain-dead politicians to regard their fellow humans as walking biohazards.

Fine.  Then shelter at home for as long as you like, and wear a mask every time you emerge from your “shelter”.  Just don’t try to force others do likewise.

I honestly have no idea how you believe that is what people will look at others after this is all said and done.

When you drive a car, you generally trust other drivers not to drive chaotic or drive impaired, but yet you still wear your seat belt which is the law - a law accepted by ALL U.S. Governments.  Why is it a law, to prevent more casualty  in the case of an accident or someone who is not careful and drives without regard of others.

Why are masks important and should be enforced for the current situation, is because of people like you that refuse to wear a mask that has no regard for others health.

This isn't your mamma's flu.  This is something new, and a lot of people act like they know best.

But keep doing your thing, please though, if you get COVID 19 and have complications.  Do not leave your house, do not go to the hospital. Save that bed for someone that tried to protect others.

I love what he said about learning from an NFL locker room. I was fortunate enough to hear former Super Bowl center and college coach, Bill Curry, give a talk that he called “what happens in the huddle” about the racial dynamics in the 60s and how football taught him to respect his black teammates in a way he may not have otherwise learned.

I was actually talking to my wife about this, and that the majority of people out there, regardless of race/culture, will usually view other cultures/race/nationality as inferior (the elitist mentality) until they are "forced" (and I use that term loosely) to work in an environment where race/culture has to be looked past in order to succeed or spend significant time with someone of another race/culture to see they are just the same as the rest of us.

It happened to me in the military..

Josh is a smart guy, and the leader of a football team, he has to keep everyone happy with every interview. An in today’s climate, he has to acknowledge the movement as being right and just.

I find it entertaining that you think that he is just being that way to keep everyone happy.  Implying he has issues with the protests and with how things are going rather than actually have learned and started caring about what has happened and continues to happen to others in this countries society which has a long history of violence, ridicule, degradation , involuntary servitude, etc. to anyone not considered white.

oh and before you start typing a response trying to prove your so called "Factual" point, I do not care.

I've said it before. I'm a veteran and I think the flag is a piece of cloth. It's what it represents that is meaningful. If you you feel you're not afforded the rights that this nations constitution and it's laws are meant to protect while others do then kneeling is your right and I support you in doing so.

I am a veteran as well and served in the 2nd Gulf War and I completely agree with you.

Having the right to kneel (laydown, play hopscotch, whatever as long as it is not violent or unwanted harm on others) is why I served this country.

I see plenty of ignorant posts on this thread and I would like to think that the ignorant ones are not veterans that actually were willing to put their differences aside and fight for this country (agreeing with the fight or not).

I will say, that our politics, this two party system, is going to end our society as we know it.  It happened to the Roman Republic and it will happen to us.  There is a reason George Washington warned about the two party system. It is designed to divide the people.

  6. Look - it seems there are many people that are trying to look at current events as if they are not stemmed from centuries ago.

    A few things for thought:

Civil War happened because of disagreement in Slavery

Amendment 13 - Read it.  (Note that Involuntary servitude is abolished unless you commit a crime)

Right After Amendment 13 was written - Arrests of newly freed African Americans occurred in Masses. Why?  because the Southern States needed cheap labor and this is how they made a compromise with the National Government.

After that - Segregation occurred for years and the Prison System kept growing.

After Segregation - the three strikers your out by Clinton Office (which he later admitted contributed to the problem) and guess what "The Prison System Kept Growing"

    so lets skip to today.

Our Countries Prison System owns 25% of the Worlds Prison Population while we only own 4.25% of the worlds total population.  How does that even happen.

Many companies use Prison Labor to manufacture and package Products.  Including but not limited to Walmart, Victoria Secret, Starbucks, Kmart, Whole Foods, McDonalds, Target, etc, etc, etc.  And these aren't just these small programs.  Last number I found was it is 1.7 Billion dollar industry.

Edited - slimmed it down to take out the added non essential points.

  7. --Poor build
    --Skinny
--Lacks great physical stature and strength
--Lacks mobility and ability to avoid the rush
    --Lacks a really strong arm
    --Can’t drive the ball downfield
--Does not throw a really tight spiral
--System-type player who can get exposed if forced to ad lib
    --Gets knocked down easily

    VS

    • Lacks premium physical tools
    • Arm talent and velocity are below average
    • Must consistently win with placement and timing
    • Allows release point to drop, and throws lack tight spiral
    • Needs pinpoint placement on tight-window throws
    • Receivers forced up against boundary by floaters
    • Disappointing deep-ball accuracy since 2018
    • Began missing easy throws in November
    • Had five-game run where he failed to complete 50 percent of his passes
    • Will be heavily reliant upon skill-position talent
    • Below-average mobility

Guess who is who?  Really crazy how similar the combine notes are.

  8. I agree with your take on clock management/challenges.

I was simply acknowledging some of the gripes towards him.  I do not agree it is a fair gripe though.  The couch coaches out there usually aren't put in highly stressful and impactful situations where they have to make a important decision in such a short amount of time and be right 100% of the time like they hold the HC standards too.

I agree on Screens/Blitz pick up. I think that shows the lack of offensive coaching/evaluation in game calling.  I do believe this falls on OC.  I do believe Mcdermott gives the offensive reigns to the offensive coaching staff.  The so called experts in that field.

  9. With McDermott up for COTY.  I felt compelled to start a discussion solely based on the ability of our coaches to coach players.

We all know they do a great job of getting the team ready each week.  We all know there has been some problems with Clock management/challenges.

But one thing I don't see mentioned very often is the ability of the coaching staff to take players that haven't necessarily been stars for other teams, some even backups. And coach them to be better players over by only doing their 1/11th.

The defense is naturally ahead of our offense based on the strength of the coaching staff. But in my eyes, the offense has improved. Not drastically but enough to be a 10/11 team this past year.  It will need to continue to improve in order to win another 10/11 games next season with a schedule that seems stronger.

I am excited to see what happens in year 3.  Especially with Mcdermott at the helm and pegulas allowing beane and company to do their thing.

The big picture is we are eliminated from postseason contention, our QB puked on his shoes, and we have a much more difficult schedule next year.

    The big picture SUCKS.

big picture is it is just a game. One you were only involved by watching on a screen and checking forums.

You do not have any stock in the bills other than being a fan.

The only thing hurt is your pride.  Get over it and be happy we weren't 5-11

I wasn’t getting paid millions of dollars to win football games.

Josh looked like a 16 year old out there. The stage was so big it enveloped him.

Exactly, you weren't and are never have been in his situation. so instead of looking negatively on this, lets look at the positive.  he is young, first playoff game and will learn from it.  The whole team will grow from this.  We exceeded expectations this year.

Lets stop acting like you or majority of people in the same situation would do better.

It is highly annoying how people continue to fail at looking at the big picture and instead feel like their opinion or the matters they are speaking of is of the highest importance.  It isn't.

***** Josh Allen. Guy looked like a Wyoming QB way over his head for half of the game. He needed his dad to tell him to chill the ***** out.

And at 22 what were you doing?"  Oh definitely not a QB in the NFL.

Please be quiet with your idiotic thought process.  Maybe your dad needs to tell you to calm the **** down.

Let’s be honest. We could easily have lost 4 of the games we’ve won.  Josh has done nothing to distinguish himself.  Excellent D and a bit of luck are covering up what will soon become a huge problem.

And lets be honest, we could easily be 6-0 if Josh doesn't get knocked out of the Patriots game.  Doesn't matter about if's.  The point is, we won period.  I disagree he hasn't done anything to distinguish himself.  He has lead multiple 4th quarter game winning drives when it mattered the most.  He has the highest QB rating in the 4th quarter out of ALL QB's in the nfl.  How is that not distinguishing himself?

He didn't fold when pressure was on him.  Not sure what your expectations are, but 200+ yds a game 62% completion is good for me at this stage in his career. Oh and 5-1 is good too.....
