The biggest disappointment about the Shady cut was how strongly the FO was endorsing him before and into training camp. I feel like they could have been more neutral about him and have maybe created some mistrust within the locker room?
Clearly bringing in Gore, Yeldon, Singletary, showed they were concerned about McCoy, which I was happy to see. But I was confused by how willing they were to continue talk him up.
i could be wrong but the few articles i saw were Shady talking himself up

I think we are set at both of those positions.
yeah you prob right just alot of unknowns outside of Brown and Beasley gonna be a great year to see what happens with this team and who takes that next step.

Yep. He doesn't use those big fades a lot. He uses other types of play in the redzone.

The NFL is getting increasingly more boring. I still enjoy watching the Bills but outside of that i struggle to make it through full games. Too many stupid rules/penalties, commercials, and injuries. Maybe im just getting cynical in my old age.
oh and bad announcers ok im done being negative. i love watching and following the Bills tho. Double edged sword

Im just hoping when we play the Broncos he jumps on that white horse of theirs and rides it around the stadium after sacking Flacco multiple times.
-
He is too busy trying to figure out the next way he is gonna beat the Bills. And the way he chooses to do so will be even more frustrating and maddening then the last.

The second coming of Lawrence Taylor. Ok maybe not

Clowney is a golden God. Get er done Beane.

Clowney commands a lot more attention and fear into an offense than Murphy and Lawson. I don't believe he's an every down pass rusher in HOU defense.
And also, Scottlaw said All Pro and not Pro Bowler. All Pro isn't voted by the fans.

Murphy and Shaq are no where near the level of player Clowney is. Let's fleece em for a 4th.?
I never feared him when the bills played Houston must just be me. And he got to play with JJ Watt who was probably commanding most of the attention and fear

So basically you are ok with the trade as long as the Bills give up next to nothing for an all pro talent. Got it.
Salty this morning huh. Stay up too late waiting for Shefters tweet? If we get 4 or 5 sacks out of Shaq and same from Murphy we have surpassed Clowneys best year. Pro Bowl doesnt mean as much to me as others (voted by fans). We all get to enamored with some of these players to much hype.
-
Any draft pick higher than a 4th and i might be in the minority here but id rather see what Shaq can do this year than Clowney (too many injuries). Lawson looking solid and motivated to me. Maybe im being a homer but im really curious to see how guys on the bills roster are gonna do this year. now if we send them players that are on the bubble anyway that would be ok but i think they asking for more than that.
-
Please Beane don't overspend for Clowney. And I don't think the Bills really absolutely need this guy with their current roster. If you can get him for the right price go for it if not I hope they pass let someone else overspend.

cool stuff!! if they win these episodes will be viewed as proof of the process (family, stability, hard work etc.) but if they lose it will just be considered hype and fluff put out by the team to sell tickets. here's hoping for the former

im thinking we may have avoided a distraction by cutting him also. he is used to being The Guy and with his decline and less touches im thinking he would have been frustrated and outspoken at times. plus all the "shady" off the field stuff also
