  1. Like I said, I didn’t come on here to start some kind of riot but what the bills fan said was ridiculous and he sounded super salty. Darnold went toe 2 toe with one of the greatest ever and put on a show. It’s not his fault that the defense collapsed.

I didnt come on here after the performance to rub anything in anyone’s face but hey....can’t let that slide. That’s pure BS. Darnold is on a roll and is playing lights out.

I’ll be the first to admit when he isn’t.

    But He is.

Well for starters 4 of our 5 OL grade outside of the 32 starting OL for each position. None of our WR’s grade in the top 100 and our RB’s don’t either. Our best weapon is Robby and he just now decided to start playing in Week 14

Why are two Jets fans talking smack on a Bills' board instead of celebrating Sam with their own fans?

I’m on the Jets board having a good time too. This really all started because one of your boys decided to make the outrageous claim that Darnold sucks.

I didn’t come on here showing my ass to begin with.

 who’s OL is worse? Who’s WR are worse? Who’s TE are so abysmal that a couple aren’t even TEs! Who has the worse ground game?

let me give you a clue. It ain’t the Jets.

Who has Todd Bowles and Mike Maccagnan? Point proven lol.

I started defending Darnold, and now I’m a troll. Show me where I said that Allen sucks or will suck. I’m stating numbers and facts, please do the same

Yup, knew the drops conversation would show up

They say Darnold sucks because his defense folded in OT despite Darnold throwing 25-34 350 yards and 3 TD’s

but we cant argue that those numbers suggest he did well and is better than Allen or we’re trolls? Looooooool — keep clinging to Allen and his phyzical abilitiez

Disingenuous troll bait. If you knew of what you spoke, you’d know comparing the two, their respective games and their supporting casts is like comparing apples and hand grenades.

Our supporting cast is ass and if you fail to see that after me explaining it then you are just ignoring it to make your argument seem stable.

Josh Allen's lack of passing TD's com pass catcher's dropping balls that hit them right in the hand in the end zone

We can play  this game all night sir

Except it’s not the same game.

Spencer Long’s botched snaps automatically count has fumbles for Darnold and you are using it against Darnold in this argument when an incident as this rarely happens at such a high rate. When have you heard of a Center botching so many snaps in the span of 3 games?

Yet dropped passes happen all the time, including to Darnold, and it’s not the direct reason for Allen’s 52% completion rate.

    Allen is inaccurate.

  8. Just now, John from Riverside said:

Why should I point out the TD's....you are doing that at every post?

I just find it interesting your trying to make this case on Darnold clearly being better when his ball security is so suspect.......

His fumbles came directly from the center botching 7 snaps in 3 games. Darnold never directly fumbled the football even though it will show up on his stats that he did.

as far as the interceptions go — they are rookie mistakes and I’m not going to kill him for it just like I wouldn’t kill Allen for it but if you want to go down that road then i’ll certainly bring up the fact that he has more INT’s than TD’s. That was your choice to bring up the picks.

Darnolds supporting cast is much better.

It’s really not. Spencer Long, our Center, botched at least 7 snaps in 3 games. He completely ruined drives, the left side of the line caved very easily and he was constantly under duress.

Kearse has been invisible this year. Robby just now decided to show up and play. Enunwa has been hurt all year. Powell damn near broke his neck, Crowell is on IR, our starting RT is on IR, we’re down to our 3rd/4th string RB’s and we’ve even had to bring up practice squad players to start for us.

its been garbage juice as far as offensive casts goes.

You could add in Allen’s 6 rush TDs as well, but you predictably don’t.

So you guys have a running back.

So now we are cherry picking stats?   SHOCKER

Like I said, we can look at the whole season.

Darnold’s QBR for the year is higher.

    Darnolds YPA is higher.

    PFF has him graded higher.

Darnold has made mind blowing throws at times and he’s playing with scrubs aside from Anderson. But yeah, keep believing Allen is going to be better because phyzical abilitiez!

52 % completion rate isn’t going to cut it. And he only did slightly better in a weak college division.

Dont look now...but Darnold just threw another pick

Darnold has been 7 TD’s for 1 INT and 750 yards with a 66% completion rate since returning from injury. It’s clear the light bulb as turned on for him.

Allen will barely eclipse 2000 yards and has thrown 52%. Stop playing with me when it comes to numbers. You’ll lose before you start.

Allen has 1 game over/at 100 QBR this year and has more interceptions than touchdowns.

    Stop..

So are we basing who is better game by game now?

A jet fan thinking they have the best qb.......imagine that

I mean, we can look at the whole season too. And yeah, we do think our QB is better, just like you guys think your QB is better, except, we can back up our opinion with numbers as well as the eye test. Like I said, I’m not here to boast or aggravate you guys but one of your board members saying Darnold sucks based off his defense folding — is way off base from multiple angles and I had to let him know.

I think we’ll have the better QB in 5 years too. But that’s just me. I’m not here to rub that in anyone’s face but if we really want to be honest and people want to act like Sam sucks...

lol well that opens the door to discuss — Darnold is a stud.

He has gone quiet since i stated stats.

We don’t even have to bash Allen lol. The proof is there of who has played better this season.

Thats not even throwing shade towards Bill fans. Allen could wind up being good. He played good against us.

Darnold is the superior QB at the moment. I dare someone with an idea of how football works to prove me wrong.

A good QB would have kept up with Green Bay. Allen wold have. Would you trade Allen for Darnold, straight up? I didn't think so.

He still sucks. He is a fumble machine and the Jets will pose no threat to the Bills in the future.

He did keep up with Rodgers, are you dense? He outplayed Rodgers for most of the game. He started out hot with 8-11 111 yards and a touchdown half way through the second Q.

He even ended up with a higher QBR than Rodgers. You suck at this lol.

Darnold was lights out today. He put the points on the board necessary to win the game and the defense folded on him. In OT, the Packers got the ball first and Darnold never got a shot at it in OT

The Bills could have passed the Jets today in draft order, but the Jets had to completely blow it.

The only good news is that it is obvious with the Jets loss that the Bills made the better pick in drafting Allen. Darnold sucks.

    25-34 for 350 yards and 3 Touchdowns.

    try again

LT or WR if it's there at the top. I don't like to get too worked up over mock drafts, or follow top college players, so I don't know if that's feasible. If nobody's apparently elite I want to trade down in a heart beat for interior OL

Greg Little has a high ceiling but his fundamentals and footwork are a little sloppy. Jonah Williams from Alabama is probably the surest bet at LT this year.

this is about where I’m at with the Jets. Left Tackle or trade down.

  18. Just now, PetermanThrew5Picks said:

He dropped and anybody should have taken him at that point. Sucks he's not stacking up as he was expected to be but I wouldn't take a guard that high ever.

Yeah a Guard at 5 had me very confused at the time. Thought we lucked into something. And it’s not like Leo sucks or anything but his impact is not worth where he was selected. He has fallen off a cliff though. Henry Anderson, who we got for a 7th round pick, has 5 sacks. Leo only has 3. It just goes to show you that you can find DE’s a lot of other ways rather than spending a near top 5 pick on em’.

Trading down probably would of done us better in the long run.

Thats why I firmly believe that the Bills should go Left Tackle or trade down and take a weapon. It’s all about Josh Allen now.

I wouldn't ever second guess the Leonard Williams pick. I thought it was a steal at the time and bolstered the next best DL unit in years. In hindsight I'd assume the Jets make that pick 10/10

At the moment I was floored that Leo dropped to us but now that the picks have played out from 2015, the RG that the Redskins drafted has winded up as a stud pro bowler and Leo has been underwhelming in terms of impact.

this was the reason these defensive players keep dropping to us at 6 lol. Teams are ahead of us and understand value of their offensive picks rather than DE

    Just now, MakeBuffaloGreatAgain said:

looking back at the 2015 NFL draft, I would say Leo Williams was the right pick.... Who would you have picked over him, hind sight being 20/20 and all

    Probably should of traded down.

  20. 1 minute ago, MakeBuffaloGreatAgain said:

TRUE! Let's draft Eric Ebron with our first pick pick because he's the best TE, or better yet, let's draft Limus Sweed, or Malcom Kelly, or James Hardy because we need a WR in a crappy TE/WR class! WooHoo! That is the most most Bills thing to do!

Well drafting a TE that high would be kind of stupid...I’m advocating for offensive line more than anything.

Which isnt a “sexy” pick but Josh Allen will be happy that he has a big guy watching his blind side.

  21. 5 minutes ago, MakeBuffaloGreatAgain said:

You drafted Williams with a LOADED d-line and got rid of a couple players in their prime to make room... it was a side step. Kinda like when we drafted Travis Henry, Mcgahee, Lynch, Spiller, ect, just to cut the oldest the next year. I am not for that type of drafting. We do need new young edge rushers on this team in a hurry, and this draft has that in spades. And if we are in position to grab one of the best available, the I say DO IT! Every draft has strengths, and too often, Buffalo has drafted for need and not for talent... like when we drafted James Hardy because we needed a tall receiver, or some crap player over Gronkowski. We need to start drafting REAL talent, and this year, it's on the D side

Who did we get rid of that was in their prime? We got rid of a roster full of lazy “over the hill” players that were age 30+.

The point that we drafted Leo with Sheldon and Wilkerson doesn’t really matter much because now that Wilkerson and Sheldon are gone...the needle still hasn’t moved. He’s invisible as far as game impact goes and it’s not because he’s bad...it’s because of the position he plays.
