Not taking Ladd McConkey here will haunt the franchise for a good bit. What a whiff by Beane and Co.

I’ll take $200 Alex for Famous words also spoken about Josh Rosen

The is the receiver Josh wanted. I think he earned the right to have input on  who he wants to throw to since he’s only the entire offense.

Exactly! Josh should have a say in who’s gonna touch his balls.

I mean, I wont ever say I told you so regarding all the offseason talk about taking 2 WRs early, but if anyone is showing any arrogance here it the folks that worked themselves up into such a lather based on youtube highlight reels, and now you are saying you lost faith in Beane because he didnt do exactly what you, an untrained civilian, wanted him to do. And wanted him to draft guys in the 2nd round that NO team took until the 4th-7th rounds.

Who is thinking they are smarter than anyone else?

I know you are feeling let down after months of hyping this up. I'm bummed we couldnt get one of the Big 3 or BTJ. Let's see how it works out.

Shame on Allen for wanting a big target who makes big catches when he needs someone like that in the big moments that Diggs never did.

Eric Moulds - Big, physical, awesome hands and returned kicks occasionally - That’s Coleman.

Look at these contested catches in these highlights and then watch Coleman. One handed catches, falling down catches, jump balls and contested catches.  Everyone complaining of the pick gonna be eating crow.

  4. I want the Bills to trade for Sutton -as per article: send Denver our 4th and 5th and get Sutton and their 6th.

We might not have a true #1 stud, but if Coleman shows out, we’d have a beast of a line up of WR’s and Kincaid and Knox (and no Prima Donna #1).

Teams arent deep enough to stop all that talent.

Well...this scouting report looks very similar in a lot of areas to Keon Coleman's:

    Weaknesses

Play strength might need upgrade against physical cornerbacks.

Press rides on him for early stages of the route.

Has had issues securing catchable throws underneath.

Very average foot quickness and long speed.

Could struggle to knock athletic corners out of route phase.

Below-average separation burst out of breaks.

Drifts into route turns at times.

Lacks stride to open up and find a second gear.

Very little grit in his run blocking.

Anyone care to guess what WR scouting report this was for?

Second rounders don’t start at all for NFL teams??  Is this a new rule?

How the hell did the Bills get away with putting a late round pick like Benford out there?!?!

  7. Yeah 4.61 is slow as hell and no way he’s gonna succeed. You’re all the same peeps that immediately started crying and labeled Josh a bust.

    Larry Fitzgerald- 4.63

    Anquan Boldin- 4.71

    Chad Johnson - 4.57

    Deandre Hopkins - 4.57

    Cooper Kupp - 4.62

    and there’s a bunch more…

Relativism and whataboutism is not a good way to form an argument, but I'll indulge just because I'm bored.

The world's poorest of the poor live on around $2.15 a day, or $785 a year. Let's say that the average Buffalo household is pulling in 78k, which is around the national median. So the average Buffaloian is pulling about 100x a year what someone in South Sudan is making.  Big difference, sure.

Bezos net worth increased 77 billion dollars last year. That's 1,000,000x times the average Buffaloian salary. The average Buffaloian is much closer to the earning potential of someone in South Sudan than they are Jeff Bezos, it's an incomprehensible amount of wealth.

Now you might be tempted to say, "That's not just income, that's also his capital assets appreciating", which is true. Well let's take in the median net worth of Americans (I can't quickly find the median net worth of specifically Buffaloians, but it's probably lower than the median), $192,700.  What Bezos earned on just appreciating assets and salary is roughly 500,000x the net worth of the median American, the culmination of their assets and debts for their entire life.

You don't get to that point without the manipulation of laws, regulations, and the exploitation of labor. I have no problem with rich people, I'm far from some communist, but when there's someone who made in one year that would take an average person 100,000x lifetimes to earn is obscene. You simply cannot be hoarding that kind of wealth and still be a moral person in modern society.

We are probably closer in agreement than both of us may have assumed ( or maybe just me). It’s only your last comment where I digress- “you simply cannot be hoarding that kind of wealth and still be a moral person”.  I can’t make the jump that he has done something immoral and/or illegal. Show me that evidence and I’m there.

I 100% believe in capitalism and it’s benefits, but where it has gone off the tracks is corruption and we have away too much of that, esp with politicians and business.

I personally know a lot of “wealthy” individuals who are not corrupt and have done enormous amounts of good to not label wealthy as “bad”.

I'd rather not be dragged into a moral discussion about hoarding obscene wealth.

I won't bother coming up with a number. It's like Potter Stewart said, "I know it when I see it."

You know what’s odd - I’ve been to countries where the average Buffalonian has “obscene wealth”.  I’ll stick with judging someone by the content of their character.

    Von miller contract

    Stephen diggs contract

Defense line draft picks that never pan out

Defense tackle signings that are not good enough

    No reliable pass rusher

    Wyatt Teller give away

    Edmunds

Just curious why he is so highly regarded when these issues have come to roost fully

Might as well throw in our scouting staff and coordinators too. The Bills scouts on D Line have been very bad.

I’d assume the O-line coordinators told Beane Teller wasn’t going to be him.

I understand your point of view.

Personally, I think we've seen what it's like to have a bunch of good to above average players and not enough GREAT players on the roster. It gets us to the Divisional round, and then we lose to a team with more GREAT players.

Me? I want more GREAT players around Josh Allen, and Nabers has the potential for greatness.

Give me one elite, blue chip playmaker with the potential for GREATNESS over a handful of potentially GOOD players, all day long and twice on Sundays.

    Agree 100%

    For This season:

Kincaid - Top 10 TE potential

Cook - Top 10 RB potential

Shakir - Top 10 potential as WR2 or WR3(if we draft a stud)

    Is that being too optimistic?

  12. Almost 250 years since citizens took up arms against Britain in the Revolutionary war.

Just over a year since Ukrainian citizens took up arms against a Russian invasion.

About 5 months since Israeli citizens took up arms against Hamas terrrorists.

About 91 years ago, Hitler began disarming the population, which quickly targeted the Jews.

Cars kill millions of people a year, shall we take those away or are they needed and serve a useful purpose?

  13. As I watched Kelce and Mahomes brag about the chance to win 3 in a row, it occurred to me the huge opportunity the Bills have to make them weep next year when we knock them out. I can’t wait to see the sad look on their faces.

Bills win SB in 2025 and 2026 and we are looking at 3 in a row!!
